Great video. Thanks. Your sound could be better. Try to put a high pass filter (HPF) on the sound and remove all frequencies under 200hz. This would remove all the low rumble sounds. And maybe have an eq that takes away the ac noice. That would be great.

How is this product with moisture?? Is the cure affected by temperatures?? I’m trying to make a custom mold using a carcass. Taxidermy stuff...I use a two part polyurethane foam mix to make the forms. So would I be able to place the project back into the freezer while partial/full cures are taking place, so that the carcass doesn’t completely thaw/leak and possibly lose shape??

I wouldn't. Let it dry in in it's own time. I used a brush on 40 and it seemed a bit long between steps, but a 25min like this will be half set up while you get the next layer ready. If you're still curious start a ticket with them and as, they're very helpful and respond quickly.

Every material offers plusses and minuses. The advantage of using latex is low material cost. A disadvantage is the labor and time necessary to arrive at your finished mold. Brush on silicone or urethanes will get you a finished mold faster but are significantly more expensive.

Three hands are better than two, right?
@Souvenirs444
@Souvenirs444 Күн бұрын
4 hands are better than two, buy two strong clamps = alligator clips at auto parts. tie a thick rope to them, pass the rope along the soles of your feet while sitting on a chair. Then place the mold on your knees, adjust the tension of the rope and tighten the knots. Clamp one side of the mold with a crocodile, after making the cut, clamp the other side with another clamp, spreading your knees, you stretch the silicone, and you have two hands free to work with a knife.
