I so agree with you and Colourpop's packaging! I also have come to learn that their customer service is total crap! They sent me wrong items, and now those items are out of stock, possibly not being restocked (according to the customer service person)...They treat their PR people well, but us people who spend $$ aren't as important! Question love: where did you get the handbag you use in this video? It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Love your unabashed honesty always...it is what keeps me coming back! Frick 'n Frack looks fabulous on you! Studio lights look good. Just learned that if you use natural daylight bulbs or GE Reveal bulbs wherever you apply makeup, it's the best, non-yellow light you can use. Made a difference in my bathroom.

I got Frick and Frack as well when KZbinrs were gushing about this product. I totally agree with your assessment. They are just a liquid lipstick. They are wonderful and a super alternative for anyone that doesn't like the Colour Pop mattes. They really do wear away nicely as well. I also noticed that they come off darker on the lips then in the container but that's not a big deal. I bought the Hard Candy matte liquids and they are comparable to these but of course they have limited shades. All in all, unless you hate the Colour Pop matte formula or just can't live without one of these shades (The Rabbit) they really aren't anything to write home about. (wow I just dated myself)

Cassie, I am SO glad that you did this review just now, because I was straight up considering buying some colourpop stuff and you always give the absolute best reviews! I also went back and watched your video on the mattes and I am solidly back in the 'meh' category. Which I'm actually glad about, since literally everything that I've ever tried that you also happen to have, I've had the exact same experiences with. We may or may not be skin twins. As far as the lights go, I like them! If yours didn't come with a white umbrella to cover them with, then I'd recommend putting a piece of white printer paper over the bulbs to diffuse the light a little bit. The only problem they're really creating right now is that they're too harsh! Maybe diffuse them, and angle them slightly not directly at your face? Also, please tell me you got that mustache heart shirt because it's flippin' adorable. (And I'm sorry you hurt your nose, but I'm glad Galileo made it out okay!)

The tube is what makes the color appear lighter. If you look at the doe foot applicator up against the tube, you see the color on the applicator is much darker.

Megan Goodhart I GOT MARSHMALLOW TOO !! Ithought it was going to be a greige but it ended up being really weird looking. I feel like im going to need to invest in a grey or purple-ish liner to add depth because EW. I also got vice in the super matte and I agree, drying as all GET OUT. but i will say trying them all out that the kylie lip kits are a mix of both. they have the feel of the satin but with a matte look and nontransferrability of the matte as well. I have a hard time believing its a colourpop formula with the kylie logo -- kylies are just a lot lot better. that being said $40 is astronomical and I would never pay that amount for MYSELf. but as a gift? sweetness. ;)

I just put in an order for Frick n Frack the other day! I was excited to see it on you, it's lovely! Might pull a bit brown on me, but eh... Lolita also pulls brown on me but at least Frick n Frack was only $6 haha. If you buy a LOT of items, you'll probably get the box. I got boxes... twice? The first time I bought a bunch of their highlighters and that came in a box, then the second time I bought a lippie stix set. I guess the latter makes sense... but yeah definitely every other purchase of mine was the envelope and I also had squished boxes and products floating around everywhere. I didn't really complain about it though because I mean, shipping was free (save for my recent purchase) and nothing came broken.
