The show rights were transferred from CBS Paramount TV to Cookie Jar sometime after 2008. That same year when DiC was purchased by Cookie Jar. And later in 2012, DHX (later WildBrain) purchased Cookie Jar and owned the rights ever since.

I checked online; DHX/Wildbrain now has full distribution rights to this series, acquired from Cookie Jar Entertainment. They also got Cookie Jar's other Richard Scarry show "Busytown Mysteries," and even the Random House "Best Video Ever" titles and the three Golden Book Video Richard Scarry titles!
