Nothing's gonna change unless the collective mass of people do something, there are multiple viable alternatives now to this garbage platform such as Odysee and Rumble. Until there's a mass migration to another platform people have no right to complain about youtube, the real issue is people not caring enough about their freedom and not standing up for themselves. South Park is also age restricted. For the record. It plays at late nights off of family friendly channels, as is required by the FCC and other regulators. Swearing is allowed on KZbin it's just age restricted. The whole reason a creator like vivziepop who uploads cartoons with extreme profanity on her channel, is able to get away with things like this, is because she relies on direct funding instead of funding through KZbin ads.

If I had one way to describe modern day KZbin, it's basically one big game of survival of the fittest. Only this time, replace the "fittest" part with "biggest ego". The bad KZbinrs are always treated like royals. Influencers, toxic family channels, content farms, and even registered creeps make good examples of this. Meanwhile, the good KZbinrs are treated like dirt all because of something small, like cursing or using a copyrighted song they simply liked. I'll be honest, I've never really liked LSMARK or his content very much, but even I can see that all of these issues by KZbin are Grade-A bullshit. Say what you will about his videos, but he puts a lot of hard work into them. No matter how heavy or light the infringement, the punishment seems completely random. The primary use of generated content that is booming right now is AI generated content which uses copyrighted material without permission, and people who upload scenes from movies and TV shows literally making money off of it without those corporations permission. I had lost an entire animation I had worked on for over a week due to it having a copyrighted song. I understand that having a copyrighted song can block your video and that’s fine. The thing is when I first uploaded the video it was allowed to be public with no issue whatsoever and it wasn’t until weeks later out of nowhere that it was completely blocked. KZbin removed an entire video of mine that was 8yrs old for hate speech over a very obvious joke. Yes, a bit of an edgey racey joke, but a clear joke, equal to the level of jokes I've heard on other videos still uploaded. They declined the appeal and declined it again when I went to them on Twitter as well, and refused to acknowledge the hypocrisy between clips of other channels using similar jokes and mine, and they just ignored it. They just cherry pick, and I swear even their Twitter is a bot too. Copyright is also a joke. Similarly, I told them on Twitter I kept getting copyright claims for the Pokémon theme in Red/Blue being claimed as a cover by some random KZbinr. I told them this needs fixed cos it keeps happening, and they replied to say the claim was valid. Like... Again, video evidence to show they're different, and the Twitter is like "please wait the 30 days for the claim to be released" whilst also saying they take misuse of the copyright system very seriously. Absolute lies if they won't acknowledge a fault in their system that is flagging innocent content. The thing that annoys me is big channels can appeal to YT on Twitter, and with the help of their audience, YT ALWAYS backs down. Once there's eyes on it, they fold. If you're a small creator? You're nothing to them. I'm certain they even muted my account at one point because they just outright stopped replying. I'm just glad I'm not big enough to make revenue at this stage, because they already make me mad beyond belief, I can't imagine being anxiety stricken every time I upload and worry if it's going to avoid copyright or monetisation fears.

This is why you DONT USE AI/ AUTOMATION FOR CHECKING VIDEOS! Ai, like humans, makes mistakes, but while with humans this only fairly happens once in a blue moon, and even then its most likely a honest mistake,and can be fixed shortly. But with ai, the entire reason why it happens is because of it mistaking something entirely different, and claiming it as domething else. A good example of this is with chatbots, based on videos Ive seen of them, you can tell them that your doing a specific action, like walking around from one area to another, or state that a specific someone is speaking. But even then it still will confuse it for something else, even though its pretty clear. Why? Because it isnt "intellegence" as they say, all it is is a bunch of code that takes an input of what you send, and runs through all the catalogs of "Approved to Use" arteork, or writings, and mushes it together to make what it thinks your asking. So, when you give a generative machine to quite literally determine if someone gets to pay their rent this month, their is gonna be problems. Eventually, for KZbin, and probably alot of companys that use ai to replace workers, are gonna have their entire franchise blow up in their face. Because the "AI" is gonna mess up, and the consumers or users are gonna be disappointed or dissatisfied with the product, and leave. Meaning less revenue, meaning less to keep up the servers, and ending with the entire company going bankrupt. Ai isnt a worker, its a tool to aid workers. (Damn i write to much)

And in my case it was content that got hit with swearing even if entire video was cussing-free. Also that "cascade" effect is also a thing in my experience. Once they flag you - they do comb through your entire catalogue to see if they can ruin you more. Sometimes it can even be spiteful employees going on a power trip and punishing your unrelated videos by deleting them and giving you community strikes just because Google gives a bunch of no goodies tools to powertrip like crazy.
