This Rose Milk Cake turns out to be so moist as the cake absorbs all the milk poured in.
It is truly one Indian Cake recipe that would impress everyone around.
Truly an Indianised version of Eggless Tres Leches Cake.
Rose Milk Cake Recipe:
Cup Size: 1 cup Flour = 120 gms
1 cup Milk =250 ml
For Cake Base
1 1/4 cups All Purporse Flour/Maida
2 tbsp Cornflour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Yogurt
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Oil
1/2 tsp Rose Essence
few drops pink food colour
1/2 cup Milk
Rose Milk Layer:
1/2 cup Cream
3/4 cup Milk
1/2 cup Condensed Milk
few drops rose essence
2 drops pink food colour
If you have rose syrup at home, skip the rose essence and food colouring, take 1/2 cup of rose syrup but then reduce the amount of condensed milk if your rose syrup is sweetened :)
Whipped Cream Layer
1 cup Whipping Cream
60 gms Icing Sugar
1/4 tsp Coconut essence
