I have noticed that many of your comments on my videos appear as a notification and I see them but when I go to the video to comment on them they do not appear... strange... it just says comment no longer exists

One day Google may end its war on small browsers. By the way, this was going on for way longer, since there were HUNDREDS of videos I saw with the comment count above what I could actually see. My browser is just the latest victim.
