@clintmallon Жыл бұрын
Hey, let’s be honest here. The Senior’s build quality is substantially higher than the Rebel AND Boosted - which feel like $80 kids toys in comparison. Yes, Wahl is lazy and have been resting on their laurels for far too long. Nevertheless, anyone who is seasoned and has gone through the ringer knows that the Senior and Magic Clip are higher quality products than the overhyped Rebel/Boosted (Even though I would never buy a Senior or Magic Clip again). - JRL 2020C and ONYX are at the very top. - FXOne LoPROFX is right up there and has a build quality that demolishes anything from Gamma/Stylecraft. - BaByliss SNAPFX is far superior to the FXOne GoldFX that you picked. Just because the FXOne is newer, doesn’t mean it’s better because it’s not even close. The people want to hear the truth and these Stylecraft heavy videos you’re making are misleading. You picked the wrong products from BaByliss to showcase. You skewed the Price score of the ONYX so that it didn’t get 20 points. And you pick Stylecraft as the winner in every single video you publish. I’ll give respect where respect is due… - Your KZbin channel success. - Your personality. - Your ability to tell a story. You’re freaking awesome dude, and we all enjoy your content even though most of us can see through the fog. Nevertheless, I’ve been doing my homework for far too long, and these are not the best clippers in 2024, nor are the two that you picked at the top of the hill. I see this comment being deleted, and that’s fine. Regardless, my only goal is to help those that don’t fully understand how all of this works. The truth is what I’m after, just like everyone else.

@joeskichavez395 I agree with you besides #4 and #5. The Rebel and Boosted (Same product, different housing) are so cheap, hollow, and loud… I just can’t do it. The Senior is built so much nicer than both. JRL and BaByliss win any of these comparisons by a mile. Period.

@@KZbinBarberAcademyEddie, come on man. Cyborg is the top dog. Yes it's heavy which is why it sat new for a while before I ever used it. Buuuut I feel like the wt was engineered to enhance the performance from an ergonomic stand point. When I'm using it, it does not feel too heavy. I agree, my blends are better & faster with the Cyborg Clipper. The Guards are the best on the market which did surprise me. I'm actually surprised of your score, I would have given it a better score. Price is spot on because it's the highest quality clipper on the market. I can't believe you didn't add the Saber & Mythic Clippers. The Saber is still in my top 3 & it's my go to for the best clipper w taper blade. It sh*ts on anything from babyliss. I have a dead Instinct, and I’m a girl. I don’t have a clue how to solder. So I replaced it with the JRL Onyx, which I also love and have had no issues with.

Pretty good chance yours is part of the batch that got recalled. I would send it in and you will get a free one.

@@KZbinBarberAcademy even if it’s been over a year? It died after about five or six months, but now it’s been over a year and that’s how long the warranty is. I really did LOVE my Instincts-until they died in the middle of a haircut. (Although, kids complained all the time about them being hot)

I wish you could remove the clicks from the Onyx, I was able to remove the click from my 2020c and they changed the system in the onyx. If there is a way please let me know, I haven't figure out how if its available.

Not sure on that one but usually there is a pin that is inside of the lever. I imagine you could probably take it off somehow.

@@KZbinBarberAcademy I tried to remove the part it clicks on but then the lever is too light. You can push the lever closed by applying little pressure to the blade

@@Iamchriskidwellnot sure if this would work but if it were me, I’d buy last years lever and take the pin out and slap it on the onyx 🤷🏽♂️

@@RyanAlca I’ve got last years 2020c and checked, it’s a completely different design but at least great minds think alike!

my friend.. i am a owner of x-ergo, alpha and jrl 2020c. Tell me pls.. how can you blend correctly with ergo? This thing is a monster. You've said it is forgiving. How? It hits like a trimmer. It is crazy machine. alpha and aspecially JRL are fogiving. There is something special with jrl that makes detailing fades easy and comportable. But with x-ergo.. i cannot finish my fades. I simply cannot. Even when scouping. It takes to much of hair. To fast. I am using it for debulking. It is great but fading.. Another thing. Vector motor getting hot really fast. I mean.. if i start a haircut with ergo, the whole clipper is hot. Not blade.. but clipper. I modified it a little. I have fullfilled inside of the body with isolation tape to prevent hot warming a body kit. It is better. But i hot days.. i am sweating while working with this tool. I love it.. and i would like to work with it but it is problematic. Maybe i am not understanding something or there is something wrong with me but for me , ergo is not forgiving and it is getting to warm for regular work. Or did i miss something?
