Dear Ethan, i just need to get something of my chest: I dont know, if you understand how much you mean to some people. I've had a really, really horrible year, and one of the few things that brought me happines was YOU (and of course the whole Podcast-crew). I mean that literally: watching the Podcast feels like having friends around and I can forget about my problems (at least for a couple hours). You also encouraged me to get help by talking about your own mental health and about taking Antidepressents. And now this new channel: its simply you and a camera... and I could watch for hours (which I do!!). So basically what I wanted to tell you: You are a born Entertainer and you have a positive impact on the World. Love you Ethan.

There is absolutely no way that a rational person would receive a letter like that from a sibling, then proceed to slowly stroll through their house calling their sibling's name at a casual volume. The fact that they planned, scripted, recorded, edited, and posted this video without thinking about how incredibly devastating this topic is, sickens me.

I cannot stop thinking about how absolutely saddening it is that on platforms, where you can age restrict content, we have to make up code words for other words we aren't allowed to say like we're on Club Penguin safe chat and have to find ways to still talk to our friends without getting banned. It's very weird to me, because we still communicate the words they want us to not say, yet in a way that forces it into a less serious connotation. It's very weird to me that KZbin would prefer we say dumb code words for serious topics, that we all know what they mean, like "unalived note", which literally turns something that should be serious into a less serious, joking vibe. The magnitude of what we're talking about is lost from having to use silly code words. I feel like KZbin isn't accomplishing what they think they are accomplishing, unless their goal with making people speak in code was to make a JOKE out of serious topics and make it harder to communicate REAL LIFE ISSUES that we all know about and face. It feels embarrassing to be an adult, on a channel for adults, and be reminded of when I played Club Penguin and had to speak in code to talk to my friends, except this time it directly downplays serious adult issues as if they don't exist just because youtube said so. Keep in mind, all the big TV and news channels on youtube get to still speak freely about horrific topics without facing bans or demonetization. So they realize the importance of being able to use the words they seem to have banned, but only if you're Jimmy Fallon or KTLA news. Which is a whole other comment about how disgusting it is that KZbin started as like an Anti-tv, totally into bolstering their creators while they worked so hard to make KZbin as respected as TV....now that they have done that and solidified KZbins space as a legitimate method to broadcast, it's literally like they would rather be TV than KZbin. They left their creators behind to try and nab a buck off late night tv hosts. It's just disgusting how double standard and hypocritical KZbin is. Honestly, Susan should be ashamed of herself when hearing people say "unalive" "sewerslide" "cornography" when talking about serious issues. They totally abandoned legitimizing actual creators just to make us speak in code.

The Dobre brothers have what I call “goldfish eyes”. Like, wide eyed, lights in but nobody home, 50 IQ stare. Usually I’m referring to my adorable idiot dog when I use that term, but seeing it on a human just ruins it for me. Booooooo Also, let’s be honest. The speech impediment isn’t helping them any. You’d think they’d get speech therapy or something with all the money they’ve made.

It’s not a fictional television show, this is real life they’re portraying. Can you imagine the kardashians making an episode where one of them pretends to unalive themselves? Especially because the target audience of the dobre brothers channel is children. Stop making people like this rich and famous. For the love
@KreeZafi2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, granted it'd be super fucked up to do a sketch about suicide too, but the fact that they and many other popular creators (whose main audiences are children) try to portray things as REAL is so bizarre and messed up. Guess that gets more clicks than good old-fashioned sketches? Same with people like Jaystation who pretends like his shit is totally real and went so far as to pretend like his girlfriend died in a car crash.
@samsam1234102 жыл бұрын
@@KreeZafi totally! The worst part is they know who they’re marketing themselves for. They do these skits because they know children are watching and will click and believe. So crazy

I was a fan of theirs when I was 13/14 and that was 4/5 years ago now. I don’t even know how I was a fan when I look back on it. They literally know exactly how to get a young child to click and how to hook them onto their content, it’s like a game for them trying to push the limits to exploit children who are fans and will fall for something like this. Eventually you grow up and realise the smell of absolute desperation and cringe coming from them🙄
