Unfortunately the youtube game today is to be overly saturated to appel to wider audiences due to their 5 second attention span. And the people saying it's just their confidence showing, yeah sure you can get confidence with experience, but what is shown here is a perfect example of this oversaturation and overexpression of one's own personality to get somewhere on YT. Which isn't necessary if you are doing something truly unique but these minecraft and gameplay youtubers have to do this for youtube fame (edit: since so many channels exist under these tags) . Unless they have an actual personality or just content with their subscriber count.

I feel Ordinary Sausage also fits into this category, he sounds so quiet and timid in his early videos and now he's a fairly bubbly character.

KZbinrculosis also results in a decline in content originality and an increased focus on reaction content, allowing them to maintain a high content output without needing to workshop new ideas at the same rate.

Seems to be people finding their confidence and being able to express themselves properly on yt. (unless theyre massive productions e.g. mrbeast I can see what u mean w "following the algorithm")

On one hand I get why people like Cr1tikal do this where they amplify their reactions in order to get an audience of easily distractable zoomers, it's easy and profitable. But that also takes out the incentive of effort that used to be put into videos and not to mention just having relaxed and natural unscripted commentary that isn't constantly begging for your attention while also not being blatantly boring as well. I went back in time and watched a few old CoD commentaries from channels like Seananners, and instantly found myself more attached to the content than anything I see on KZbin today.

There’s a good amount of people that do just gain confidence and improve their video-presence over time, but there are definitely still a LOT that start to reach “annoying kiddie-level KZbinr” and see a drop in content quality, because you can see them trying to follow the fast-paced, high-energy, over-hype, auditory/visual overdose trend that is that arena. The interesting ones are the ones who gain the attributes of the “annoying kiddie-level KZbinr” yet still maintain content quality.

calling it a disease makes it sound like a bad thing tbh, but honestly it's crazy that most KZbinr's sound more energetic overtime. especially Jack since he's basically doing KZbin for a decade now, and you'd think he'll just end up sounding more monotone and exhausted in that time span
@Boss-30
@Boss-30 Жыл бұрын
Paople won't wach monotone sounding youtubers, he's probably burnt out as hell, but it's his job to entertain, you don't see a clown break down in the middle of their performance.
