Infact all the entry level jobs should be reserved for South Africans I don't understand how can foreign nationals be employed yet South Africans are not in the unskilled jobs, only critical skill jobs should be given to foreigners.

I went to a Saloon, a Ghanaian lady was doing my hair.. She was also complaining, I was telling her that it's even hard for us that are from here. We are unemployed.. I was telling her to tell others who are considering coming this side.. But you know it's hard to say that sometimes especially when you are from SA, some feel we are being xenophobic, so I'm glad it's coming from someone who's originally not from here. SA is not a perfect country, we have our own struggles here...

That’s the truth and the honest truth. I’m a South African - I got retrenched 2x since 1994. The last permanent job I had was in 2012 after that I struggled to find a Perm job again with all the Qualifications and Experience I had, I was only getting Contracts /Fixed Term jobs until I left for the UK. When you get retrenched as a SA it’s no longer easy to get the job again - things have changed, it was never like that in the early 2000s or before . It’s worse for the Foreigners as she is saying THERERs NO JOB - If you are a Foreigner you will never find a descent job especially if you don’t have a South African ID document NEVER!

All I can say is that there is a vast room for self employment in South Africa. When a South African says there are no jobs, he/she is reffering to companies and government entities not hiring them, but you can do very well being self employed. Most foreigners in South Africa are making a lot of money due to self employment, and I've realized that South Africans do not like that, they prefer waking up in the morning and going to work. Another thing it is very hard for a foreigner to find work in SA especially working for the government because most professions in South Africa have unions and those unions are only empowering South Africans, foreigners tend to work in the private sector where I think they are exploited, most foreign teachers who are extremely good are found in private schools, not likely in government schools.

No country is perfect and for the fact they even considering to travel and stay in South Africa means their own is even worse🌚🤷 South Africa has many opportunities,I feel like this video could have covered a lot more than just "No jobs" I don't think there's any country in Africa that has 100% employment rate kodwa ker... How about telling them to actually have a plan of how they will sustain themselves before coming here not just to hustle which most of the time It's either selling drugs or Yahoo, which they scam people💔 And for those that are coming from Nigeria...I work at a African restaurant in parklands and majority of the customers there are Nigerians and I hear most of them are glad they left Nigerian and they never going back🤷
