The facts: logan hired a criminal he was aware of on purpose and had a chat with co-owners full of market manipulation back and forth, and the goal to get as much money as fast as possible using his audience. Logan also lies multiple times publicly, bad takes and immature remarks without giving any apologies to victims, or even a mention. He is also SUING coffee with a defamation case, which anyone who knows anything about court would know is almost always never won. Coffee spent the better part of a year working on his video series and is a trusted journalist in the community, his investigation was backed by all the vouchers and evidence he could need, none of it was defamatory. Why do some people decide to support Logan here?

Honestly, I think them LOSING this case is the best thing for us. Their algorithms have been the worst part of the platform and been needing a complete rework since the vine days. If we were the only ones to face the consequences of it, they were never going to fix it. Now that the courts forcing them to take some responsibility, expect a great many changes. Including ALOT less bias results in the search algorithm and trending tabs. "Supporting smaller channels" is the greatest laugh of all of this. The system is biast and we all know it.

More people need to talk about the new policy changes. It’s not just language that’s being taken into account but there’s a whole new thing about violence with art too. There was a guy who reviewed ‘Godslap’, Cr1tikal’s new comic, and the video got demonetized for only showing a few frames even though it’s nothing too gorey. I feel like this can heavily impact animation and other artists on KZbin bc nobody knows what is safe and these people spend months making these projects. In Europe the concept of swearing/cursing doesn't really hold much weight anymore, people have sort of realised that they're just words that have no real extra implications than if you were to use their non-curse counterparts. Hell, in the UK we say "fuckin'" in place of "umm" when we're talking most of the time.

You want KZbin to download and verify every single video game? They have manual review for extreme cases and you can report those adverts (sadly there is no feedback to that report but still). Imagine yourself running this website. Do you think you could filter out this unbelievable amount of content manually? If this court case is won by Gonzalez, it will be a dark age for the internet because it would mean that the government will decide what can and can't be posted. Websites like Google Search or any search engine based in the US will be practically dead, because they also use ads as well as manipulate search results based on arbitrary mathematical decisions (and adversarial AI). You won't get posts from friends on Facebook except for maybe chronological order. You won't have a KZbin homepage. You won't have anything that is auto filtered on any platform. Sure, ISIS could be unfortunately promoted in ads, but that just means you need to tweak the algorithm a bit to discourage that type of content. You cannot be a pure platform. You have to moderate. Does that make you a publisher? No. But by the legal definition it seems to fall under it, and this will mean that only platforms with zero moderation could exist, which will turn into even more ISIS and similar content to thrive. I do not understand how anyone could even start to defend Gonzalez when the entire internet is at stake here. Does the situation with ads sucks? Yup. But it doesn't mean KZbin is some evil entity promoting it. It's like AI being trained and discriminating against certain people purely through it's data input and analysis. I remember this idiot who complained that KZbin is racist when in reality the only thing that could be "racist" is the algorithm (which you can't control fully because it is based on neural ai). Instead of looking at it objectively people look at it emotionally. It's easier after all. Zero thinking. I hope KZbin demolishes them, or it's going to be a humongous loss for almost all US based internet companies. Prepare for a migration.

As devastating this lawsuit is, it opens up many possibilities to other violations. Like how KZbin directly interfering, striking and deleting creators videos are violating Section 230, How shadowbanning and censoring videos goes against the First Amendmant,. KZbin has a dirty track record for playing the judge, jury and executioner. Anyways, if they remove the algorithm, they should replace it with a better, uncensored and actually help small creators Edit: So some people say that dislikes removal don't go against the first ammendment. none of the violations which you listed can lead to KZbin being sued. demonetizations don't break Section 230, "removing" (it wasn't removed) the dislike button isn't against the 1. A, and what the fuck does "abusing Section 230 for their own gain" even mean? and no, there won't be censorship concerns. I genuinely recommend not playing an armchair law expert when u've zero actual clue what u're talking about. (and note: I agree YT is shit at a lot of things and agree a lot of the things u mentioned r to an extend true n shouldn't be happening. nonetheless doesn't mean they're somehow unconstitutional or whatever lol).
