Visitor visa in the US is very easy. Its just like the J-1 Visa its very quick. All you need is a clear reason why you visiting the US, and clear proof of ties back at home and means of funds for your travel and stay. You also need Itineraries for hotels if you going to be booking and duration of your stay. If you're visiting someone you have to get their invitation letter and if they will be taking care of your living costs they need to state that and provide pay stubs or bank statements dating back 3 months from today
