It's actually great that he didn't change into Vader in this scene because that is the Vader Anakin would've been. More powerful and dangerous than the one in the suit. This episode showed us that he made peace with his dark side and has ful mastery of it now. He can switch between Anakin and Vader while maintaining control over the other. The whole scene is just Anakin conducting a therapy session for Ahsok, to fight her demons.

Why is everyone missing this? He is Vader in this Scene. He is just without the suite. Hayden nailed this! I am so glad he was brought back to redeem himself.

I absolutely love the blending of Vader and Anakin in this scene. It leans heavier on Anakin but the accents of vader, the breathing, the voice mesh AND the fact that Anakin is even wielding Vader's lightsaber and NOT his is a amazing touch. It also allows for faster paced lightsaber dueling AND lets Hayden play Lord Vader one more time. People seem to forget, for a BRIEF period, Anakin WAS Darth Vader before the suit. So seeing Hayden get to portray that version of Darth Vader again is nice.

Everyone worried for Ahsoka that he was gonna come out completely suited up but I say that a fully limbed, suitless Vader is way more powerful and dangerous

The second the red blade appeared he was Vader. It was not the suit that made him Vader that occurred the second Anakin took the knee and pledged loyalty to Palpatine. This was the Vader that would have been had he defeated Obi-Wan on Mustafar.

God, seeing how *confident* Anakin is in his movements now. He's not just aggressive and powerful, even in his Vader side he's slowly and methodical. He doesn't overdo it trying to just slam his saber into Ahsoka, he easily just dodges her blows and pushes her back. Not because he's just that good, but because you can tell Anakin *knows* Ahsoka can't beat him. He knows, and so does she. Not unless she's willing to actually fight for herself.

Spot on. Which is the whole lesson Anakin was trying to teach Ashoka. Unless she's willing to fight for herself, she will never truly live.

This whole lesson was beautiful. Aside from the obvious visual differences (red saber, Sith eyes and menacing voice) his whole physical demeanor changes. As Anakin he's a warrior, strong, sure and graceful. As Vader he's a Juggernaut, unyielding and deliberate.

Vader is a character you get instantly excited for when any aspect of him is presented on screen. Be it a name drop, a silhouette, a faint whisper of his breathing. You’re instantly excited

I really loved how we saw his entire style change. Anakin was super finesse with the saber, Vader is just power swings and constantly pushing the position

It's crazy how this received such horrible reviews. But we finally get to see Anakin accept Vader and take accountability for his actions. Other than legends and spin-off novels that’s all we get but again the way he transitions between both 👌🏼👌🏼

you lack conviction As Mortis father Anakin can change forms he could appear as old as he wants to be but choses to look a certain way.. Atleast they didn't go too heavy with that because a lot of people wouldn't understand😂 Even people that know about it don't understand , But the more you rewatch the more you realize what's going on he's finally found balance with the force he has 100% control of that Realm Finally taking on his destiny he didn't lose he let her win he didn't go full on.. All to teacher her a lesson

This reactors forget most of the time anakin was vader before that suit his red eyes and red blader shows that's the original vader that suit of armor was just what he wored because of obi wan but I get as well the suit is ironic because we've seen be vader with that suit

Hes weaker than yoda, weaker than Sidious. Lost to luke, lost to Obi wan, his only victory is against obi wan when he was old and literally let him slice him in half. In the movies Darther vader loses to every major force user left alive. He ranks 5th amongths 5. Sidious, obi wan, luke, yoda and vader himself. There was no other Signficant force users alive. Apparently hes so powerful but he loses to everyone else? doesnt even make sense. I dont care about the comics as theres always some kind of whacky scenario to twist what you like. But in the movies and TV adaptations all vader ever acomplished is killing rebels and other weaklings. @@mck0027

It's kind of funny how people forget that Vader didn't have a suit for a day (or at least a couple hours) Lord Vader marched on the Jedi temple I think this stage of Vader/Anakin was so cool because it was basically his prime
