I'm so happy about my experience of this episode. I binge watched S.U. on my own after only noting its popularity online, but I went into it completely blind. I never heard any theories, never caught on to any of the hints, so I had no idea what was coming. When I saw that, my mind 'sploded. It was awesome.

Goatmon haha, I was even going to say they might have been bingewatching. I binged and watched everything in two days, so I didn't have time to process all of the details. When I go back and watch it again, I'll be able to notice more. But even looking back at the things I did notice, I didn't figure it out on my own. I just thought she was two gemstones as one person. Like, Pearl has one gemstone, Amethyst has one, Steven has one, and Garnet has two. I thought that maybe there may be a class of gemstones that have two, like they formed from two or something... but aren't a fusion. If that makes any sense. Like how they grew Amythest from one gem. Maybe Garnet had grown from two, like the experiments she and Steven found later. But I like that she's a fusion born of love a lot more.

Thought Steven Universe was crap because Steven looked really ugly in the beginning and was sick of ugly cartoons with no interesting plots. Months later I see a promo on YT saying season 2 was coming out and I stop and look at it thinking, 'that show has a season two?' Someone once told me to watch it and I actually considered it. Though I didn't. Few weeks later I'm drawing and listening to music from Adventure Time and suddenly I hear a gorgeous voice singing in a chorus (I didn't pay attention until like two minute into the song) I looked up and I clicked the tab to see what's playing; I see a person with a square afro fighting with another person who looks like a cheeto puff. I look and and see that it's Stronger Than You--however, I didn't realize that it was from Steven Universe. A fleeting thought: Holy shit, this song is great, what the hell is going on in this show though? Hold on, is that a giant finger in space? I look at the comments and see the words, 'Garnet' and 'fusion' in the same sentence. I'm confused so I don't think too much of it and considered watching this show. I don't start watching it until a a couple months later. Fast forward to me watching episode Jail Break; I'm educated in fusion but I don't realized that Garnet is a fusion. Hell, I thought that Sapphire was (honestly the cutest little thing and) a princess or something and that Ruby was some random prisoner boy that they picked up and Jasper/Peri were doing the Cluster shizz from My Life as a Teenage Robot by kidnapping 'the special ones'. So anyway, I don't realize that Garnet is fusion until a split second before R&S start to fuse and I'm shocked to the bone. Confused and surprised. Then Stronger Than You starts and I'm finally smacked with realization that that video I found all those months ago was the same one. So yes, I was aware that Garnet was a fusion but I eventually forgot and was rewarded with pleasant surprise, which was fucking awesome.

It's actually really obvious that Garnet is a fusion. Here are six reasons: 1. In the intro there are two shooting stars for Garnet but only one for Amethyst and Pearl. 2. She has two gems on her body unlike Amethyst, Pearl and Steven which have one. 3.The door to her room has two gems on it, one being red and one being blue. 4. When Jasper attacks Garnet making her go back into her gem(s) two gems fall on the ground instead of one. 5.When she fuses there are two gems representing her instead of one gem. 6.Ruby's hair matches with Garnet's and Sapphire's kinda looks like Garnet (shoulders, chest, lips and arms). Again I repeat, its really obvious.

When I saw jailbreak, when ruby was introduced I just thought " hey look a tiny garnet" and moved on with my life. Next when sapphire was introduced I was like " well she's awesome. I like her" and kept watching. BUT WHEN THEY FUSED MY MIND WAS BLOWN!
