@@NerdySage I personally think its more so the sounds. At first it sounds like she's actually gonna succeed, but then panic ensues. Her body is not strong enough to blow up Komodo Dragon's stomach. Thus, her slight screams, and that one blood bubble pops out of his mouth... "Yum..." This whole scene was equally as good as when Omniman killed the Guardians the first episode. Like we expected this weak group of villains to be taken down by these three but the turns were tabled.

Amazing how many people actually thought Kate and Rae were dead. Even the editors of Wikipedia and TV Tropes were fooled. 😆 I mean, it's _kinda_ understandable in Rae's case, especially given her comics counterpart died in this fight (though her powers give her a clear way to survive). Kate, though, would've been a complete dumbass to not have a spare dupe hiding away somewhere.
