You can definitely react fast enough but the game disables the dodge button so you always get hit for story reasons.

Turmoil's tongue attack can't kill you instantly if you have enough health, so I think if your health is high enough even if you get hit, you still survive. But I do like the theory that he dies regardless since it'd be fitting too.

Tbh Turmoil is such an ass. Not only is his song hard (in my opinion), but when it's his turn it pushes back on your health, and of course, that space bar mechanic that you have to do whenever he attacks. And you pretty much die to him at the end anyways. But his song is so good, so it makes up for it. Love this vid, btw. The reactions are hilarious. :)

imo Last Course is like the 2nd hardest song behind Unbeatable. Turmoil has 2 gimmicks that lower your health bar, way more threatening than all other songs. Unbeatable has the “don’t miss” section, health drain, and the split arrow keys at the end
