maybe it's cause im older but i love hearing the business side of shit. This was so awesome and so real! I recently saw ryan higas podcast with michelle phan and felt the same way. I'm kinda getting tired of youtubers putting up a front, showing their life, so it's nice to hear the back side of shit and how much work went into it. Definitely will listen to the podcast

sociallyineptpotato JK is anti commie freaks, that's why I haven't watched their 10 years now, I blame mostly on American mainstream medias, spewing garbage, hate n divisionness n insults against among Asians, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, communist, immigrants, Indians, black, Muslim, Arab, jews etc. . Causing whole world bloody mess especially in Hong Kong now, last year in communist Vietnam etc..etc...

I once had a really passive aggressive owner confront me via yelp for leaving a three star review. My rating was based on my first impression which entailed me desperately trying not to choke on the steak I was eating therefore, I didn’t think they deserve a 4 star, but I said I was willing to go back and try something else. Reasonable? Not to the owner, he seemed to think he could do no wrong. He said that because I didn’t tell him in person that his food sucked so that he could fix it, it was somehow not an honest review? The dish itself was already expensive, it’ll be presumptuous of me to think they could make another one for free. Also - how can you expect someone to be honest about your food IN PERSON when you responded so viciously online to a fair review? Made me want to go back and change my rating, his attitude was a 1 ⭐️

I'll be honest: I am one of those people who leaves negative yelp reviews after I leave the place. Yes, David, while I understand that you prefer if the customer would address it then and there rather than going to complain on yelp, not every business owner is like that. In fact, the employees are not going to like that most of the time. Its the food business. If I were to complain that the portion sizes are smaller now compared to the 6-7 times I've been here, that employee will give me attitude or do something weird to my food (spit in it, pee in it, whatever). As someone who eats out a lot, I only leave a negative review for less than 5% of all my dining experiences. I've left reviews for a lady who didn't give me a receipt and took my $20 on a $5 receipt without giving me change back (then lying about it), food portions being drastically less yet prices being higher, and any drastic changes in the food product that essentially changed how it tasted. I maintain my right to post a negative review about a food establishment because it keeps the business honest.

I get that BUT, that only happens when customers don’t ask properly. There’s always a way of going about things. I never shy away from asking what I want but, I’m also mindful about how I ask them. I just imagine how I would want to be asked for a favor instead of treating servers differently.
