As a Russian, I sincerely sympathize with Ukrainians in this war. My friend went to war for the promised salary but ended up on life support, barely clinging to life. I wish for this senseless war to end, for Russia to pay reparations for the damage caused, and for Putin to be removed for brainwashing the nation and using fear and force to maintain power. I hope that soon people will change their attitude when the consequences become clear. All the resistance is labeled foreign agents, imprisoned or worse. It's like it's 1937 all over again and the value of human life is nil.

Что самое характерное, оказался формально прав, в ходе суда обвинения по видео с покемонами сняли, а посадили за несколько других видео, где он высказывался более резко. I'm an anti-theist and believe that if all religion was "un-invented" so to speak then the world would greatly improve, however I will always respect oppressed people and at least in the west I've seen that muslims are a very oppressed group, arabophobia is rampant everywhere regardless of religion, and when non-arabs convert to islam you immediately see some people start treating them differently. I'm transgender and I know and have spoke to some lgbt arabs religious and irreligious in islamic countries who are severely oppressed and persecuted and I again think if religion was "un-invented" this would improve the situation worldwide, however I also understand that it's mainly due to material condition (war, and surely other reasons I'm not aware of) that the people in those countries have been turned into fanatics as a means of what's essentially escapism, similar is happening in the west now. I just of course wish the world was peaceful for all of us, it would be nice, we've all been thrown under the bus by the public, media, government etc. We're all people together, 99.9% similar genome etc etc, we need to all learn that.

Please remember that the motives standing behind that law in Poland might be way different than those that stand behind Russian law. Take the whole cultural and historical context under consideration. The execution of the law is also very differnt in both countries, so you can't just simply compare that and spread misinformation. During communism time the church was being repressed. Polish people treated it as a synonim of resistance against the regime. Of course it probably also has a political meaning, but not the same as in Russia. Look at the article 196 of a Polish Penal Code. Of course, there is some sort of space for an interpretation of a court if something was actually an attack on a religion or a sacred place, but how can you compare Russian judiciary to a Polish one? Except those terrible things that happend during PiS rule, when they tried to destroy the whole system, it still functions well and obeys all the basic rules of a person who has to stand in front of the court. You've got two instances, the trials aren't staged. I can't even imagine something like that happening here. Russian and Polish reality in this case is completely different. I think the biggest case in which this article was being considered was a case of a Polish artist Nergal. He publically tear the Bible, used swearwords and said that a catholic church is a criminal cult. And you know what happend after they accused him? ... He was exculpated.
@sockosophie31323 күн бұрын
@@ninanixdorff9227 PiS isn´t too far from Pootins Harem. Fascists around the world always think they are unique due to their nationality but in fact they have same rotten mindset Mussolini and Mr. Dirty Sanchez had, probably a bit modernized but still the same at the core.

8:19 It makes sense precisely: it went to the worst location and I agree, because that grace at the entrance I recognized the statue next door and it is the old house Ipatiev, where the tsars and their family were shot and bayoneted for twenty minutes, so if that place is sacred and surely they were offended by the historical theme of what happened in the house of special purpose.

The first two, I can agree. The last guy entered restricted areas and posted the videos online. That will get you 5 years in jail in any country. I live in Australia and I can tell you right now that if I did that I would spend 5 years in jail. That jail time would be in a federal prison, the hardest time you can do.

He himself said that his arrest is not related to the content on his KZbin channel. He knew where he could go and where he couldn’t. As for the exact reason for his arrest, he is afraid to talk about it because his case involves "state secrets". According to one version, which he did not deny, a subscriber who works as a security guard for the FSB sent him photos of a government tunnel under Moscow to his email. Since he was not in Russia at that time, it was considered the export of state secrets abroad.

Catching Pokémon in the church, instant jail, criticising a religion, what is this world Criticising religion is fine, if a religion is dangerous, you have the right to criticise it, you also have the right to not agree with a religion and put your point across why. Obviously the going to far concept is threats of violence etc but we already have a crime for that. Religion shouldn’t be In law because there’s no need for it to be. 2 getting locked up for playing Pokémon on your phone in a church, that’s wild that happened, Russian government is pathetic for that And the fake witnesses made up is not unbelievable mate, If government holds the power and they use the police as a corporation then it isn’t unbelievable at all

I remember when Pokemon Go just came out there were shrines in Japan that placed posters saying: "Please, don't catch Pokemon at the jinja, they deserve to live as well", while others had posters: "We have Pokemons here! Come in and catch them!". I remember how there were lots of people at night catching Pokemons at the castle grounds close to Sakaki.

What you're describing reminds me of stories I hear from my grandparents about how it was to live under communist government of PRL-era Poland. Disheartening to see Russia, like so many other post-soviet countries, never managed to get rid of the ghost of authoritarianism.
