Hey I have a few questions and was wondering if you could help me out. I have a little over 1,200 INR18650MJ1 lithium battery cells, I am going to build 14s 80p battery bank for my RV and was wondering what BMS you use I know it's in your videos somewhere but don't have time to cycle through the video. And also can I use those 18650 plastic battery cell holders for my 80p bank so I can easily replace a cell if it is bad. Reason I'm asking is because you seem to have done alot of tests with these batteries and what would be the most amount of amps I can draw from the 48v 14s 80p battery bank. And I would also use fuzes in between each plastic cell holder and either crip together each plastic cell holder or use a buss bar with 80 different holes or possibly 40 holes and put two cell holders in one of the connections.

This is an awesome video Pete. I love the impromptu planning and build. I was screaming at the screen to tell you to put the cabinet on the floor on it's side to make your life easier. You must of eventually heard me. More please.

LOL, it was up there to 'save' my back n knees hehe - don't think i'll do more like this due to very poor response.. all in this one cost about 2500 even with free batteries :(

Pete has told me to put a smile on his face. I'm no comedian, but, no I'm not a comedian.... You've got grommets - have you spoken to a doctor about them, I'm sure there's something you can take for them. Hey, what's wrong, have the thongs given up on you, o have you gone soft and taken to wearing trainers? Yes, that was along one, but far better your rambling long video that gets the job done than some peoples twenty part series showing how they drilled three holes and put a screw in each of them. The finished toolbox mobile solar generator look pretty cool. Great idea, well executed Pete :-)

Refreshing, really refreshing to see a Classic Pete video. Who needs polish and planning, or even safety shoes (love the thongs -aka "desert safety shoes"). Listed under comedy??? - Well maybe. Listed under DIY??? - Well maybe. List it under both just to make sure. (btw. Pete, if you want to find those small things you dropped on the floor, just kick your thongs off and you'll find what you are looking for in seconds. Don't ask me how I know.)

wonder if putting both on backer boards plywood on both sides so you can screw to your hearts content and bolt the boards on afterwards one for inverter one for charge controller

For the inverter mounting, I would of put another strip of steel on the inside to give a little extra support over the thin steel casing. Just keep an eye on those mount points to make sure they aren't stress ripping over time

Hey mate I saw this arrival as a way to handle my solar generators. using a tool box set to do the heavy lifting seems like a good idea. My two big boxes do not have wheels, so this make a lot of sense to me. I have three of these. Two of mine have anti-tip over and this is just moving the caster out from under the tool box and on a piece of 1.5” plywood bigger the the bottom of the tool box. Just thinking outside the box pun intender

Hi, New to this thing and want to build my own Powerwall, but do not know where to start? Here in Sweden we now have Electrical crisis, Prices per kwh is 0,4-0,5 EUR/Dollar during days and 0.01 EUR/Dollar night.. I have spot price and pay for it by hourly rate. My idea is to build a Powerwall to charge during night and use during the day. Tips would be really good where do I start ?
