I'm with Kenny on this one. I live for jank voice acting in video games. Bad voice lines are just endlessly entertaining to me. That's probably the reason why I love the original Resident Evil so much.

BAT was my first PS1 game and I loved it. I have this Saturn version now too but I don’t know why the regular voice clips like when taking damage or announcing moves are recorded differently, like they’re almost the same. They’re more compressed, too. But this version has Cupido as a secret character and boss with awesome music!

If Toshinden were made now, it would be way better. But it was the first 3d weapons based fighter. Also, this was about a year before Soul Edge/Soul Blade

Still standby that Gaia in 1 is one of my favorite Final bosses in FGs. His design, stage and theme was just mesmerizing to younger me. Also horrible voice acting aside there are some lore elements I do live in the series. Like Sho is probably the most badass swordsman I've seen. Spoilers but In 2 the man literally raided the terrorist base and killed the final boss and her lieutenant by himself.

It's pretty janky and controls sluggish nowadays. I would recommend playing Battle Arena Toshinden 3 instead. It plays the best and features a pretty large roster as well.
