I mean...I think it depends, when it comes to burnout, for example, they explain that the xbox 360 version is significantly better and it was made not that long after, in that sense and in a few other examples. Its almost as if the original version is the "imperfect version". And they don't wamt to have multiple lists with the same games, so of a game is better on gamecube than playstation, they consider ot a gamecube game for that list. It makes sense to me. Now of it is a remaster from 20nyears later, yeah it makes no sense, but I dont remember them dping that in this video

That’s my issue because the list is about PS2 games and they keep going to “well it ran better on another platform” which is a bad take to me. Also, the lists are very catered to their tastes obviously, so they leave a lot of games out just because they themselves weren’t fans or didn’t play (mainly Max and Simmons)

It's a top 10 games, that define the system. Games where you would think of the system itself and they missed a lot of exclusive games, well because not played or forgot and killed exclusives early like Fatal Frame and Onimusha. Chat suggested Killer 7, which was first a Game Cube exclusive like RE4. Disgaea was even not on the list as well as many other games where you would think of PS2. But also, all there Top 10 lists are the "YoVideogames Top 10 games of ", so enjoy there silly ride. 🙂

Cause DMC3 have Nintendo Switch port. Basically the better one since they adding "Style Switch in Missions" DMC1 is don't have same treatment as DMC3. Simmons mentioned : "Most of great PS2 games have the better version on other consoles." So I kinda respect DMC1 over DMC3 on "their" list.

lots of annoying enemy encounters (those redesigned shield spear guys can suck it) plus damage sponge DMD! mode make DMC3 worse for me.

The argument against SOCOM 2 is so off. The communication was absolutely what made it great. It might not be the best shooter but it's definitely one of the most defining PS2 games. It's still not top 10 though.

"Better version" aside, the PS2's library is so unbelievably stacked it's almost impossible to have a top 10 that everyone can agree on. (PS2) Persona 3 has 3 seperates game that better than Vanilla Persona 3.(PS2) : - FES (PS2) has expansion story "The Answer" Orpheus Telos added on P3FES, Monad also added in FES. - Portable (PSP/PC) has new experience because FeMC route. But it sacrifices 3D models to VN styles. I don't think this a quite improvement over FES. Reload (PS4/PS5) is the most recent one, basically Persona 5 mechanics/engine with Persona 3 casts. If you trying to mentions ATLUS game in "PS2", try Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga duology.

I am not a Kingdom Hearts fan and also did not owned a PS2, but even I would say, that Kingdom Hearts is one of the best PS2. Beside "it is better on other system" is your own faults, if you all picked a lot of non exclusive PS2 games on the list and even killed exclusive games like Fatal Frame and Onimusha. 😝
