Yup. I'm 64. I long ago lost count of the number of acts that I've seen live. That has included singers with superb voices such as Ian Gillan and Annie Haslam. It has included singers with bags of charisma and stage presence such as Mick Jagger, Noddy Holder and George Melly. But I've never seen anyone who could just *own* a stage and spellbind an audience to the extent that Alex Harvey could. He is much missed.

SAHB was more like a cross between a vaudeville act & an Olde English Troupe with the theater thrown in for free. They were as different as night & day compared to other acts of the time. Exceptionally good LIVE! I can't stress just how spectacular they were. He used to act quite giddy about introducing his band, he'd do it over & over as part of the act. When he stuffed the stockings in his mouth & started his 'I've been FRAMED' routine, we about fell over. Up till then, bands that incorporated a crazy stage act the entire show were & stayed EXTREMELY rare. The Faith Healer was very much an act about faith healing, strange in itself.
