To those who are saying things like: Ysera didn't really do anything. My father crossed over 20 years ago. What I would not give for *one hour* just to talk to him. To have him present in a way that ended when pancreatic cancer ate too far into him. So Ysera did a LOT for Merithra, just by being among the living again. It wasn't just a speech. I don't play wow for some good years now, but i love to see that this level of facial expressions and fluid animations in engine and in real time being more and more common place in wow, this is something that enhances so much moments like this, it was common for this to be just the characters standing there with a huge textbox and voice over, without these characters emotions being shown like they are in this video, that is wonderful and i'm glad they are doing it more, plus your character get's to be a part of the moment as well, even if he just stands there, i appreciate that, congrats to the animation team, this a really well done job.

My god, that was beautiful. Say what you will about the entire night elven arc throughout the last few expansions, but in my opinion it has given us some, if not the most, heartfelt and emotional cinematic moments in the game.

While I'm glad they got closure, this could have been handle differently and still accomplished the same goal. Why couldn't Ysera be incorporeal and communicate with her daughter from Ardenweald, thus eliminating all the need for Malfurion to be out in the Emerald Dream patch? They could have had Mal taking the fight to Ferakk with Tyrande and the NEs. Ysera could have done everything she did from Ardenweald, she couldn't even effectively use her powers because she was touched by death. Her daughter did the heavy lifting with her flight, so if she needed closure I think this could have given her confidence and allowed her to see her mom one last time without the big NO MALFURION IN DRUID PATCH.
