This is the first black opium i ever bought, i tested the original and flankers and none of them did well with my chemistry, none of them lasted over 15 min on me. I love this one from the moment i sprayed it in sephora a couple of weeks ago omg i fell in love. You are absolutely right about the lactonic notes, that for me is ❤

When I lived in Italy for 4 years I had the BIGGEST fig tree on my backyard! It gave *hundreds* of fruit each season - too many to pick.. (Most of them actually ended up not being picked, so there was this alcohol smell in the air when they started to go bad) lol That said, interestingly enough I can't remember anymore how figs or fig leaves smell like! Have totally forgotten! So maybe I'll sniff Illicit Green in the shop one day, but I doubt I'll ever buy a bottle. Thanks for the review! 💚

I have just got this for my birthday and I love it but I kept thinking how much it smelt like something familiar I used to wear and then it came to me...Hypnotic Poison by Dior. Smells the same to me.

I think this one smells very good and I also like the other opiums but for some reason I cannot smell any coffee and that seems to be the main note everyone talks about! 🧐😅

I tried this a couple days ago and I was so disappointed.. I guess I was expecting too much, but I was hoping to get more "illicit green" and less of the classic narcotic vanilla. I would have preferred a fresher 'greener' take on the original.

Hi, I like it. I dont sniff any of the other version of Black opium. I was surprised that I like it. But first I get edp from zara Gardenia. I Just want to know if i can wear this.

Thank you for the review! Although I don't enjoy fig notes in perfumery, I am curious about this one. I have the original Black Opium and the Extreme version in my collection and I'd like to see how this one compares to them.

Fig is one of my favorite notes in perfume but this new BO flanker is a letdown, as with the majority of their flankers. I only enjoy the Extreme version but would like to try Floral Shock as I've heard good things about that one.

Do you feel like illicit green lasts longer than the extreme? I feel like I can smell the illicit green on my clothes longer than the extreme version.

Hi Arlene! I'm thinking of getting a Black Opium. Which one would you suggest for PH climate which as you know is always hot and humid? What is the longevity of these perfumes?

Hmm for me personally I think BO can be pretty heavy for PH weather but I suppose you can go light on the sprays to make it work. The Neon version might be one to try out 😊

I don’t ever like green notes and nothing about this line appeals to me, so I’ll pass, but I’d love to smell it out of curiosity. I think it’s only sold online in the states.

I don't usually like green accords and notes either but theres always an exception to the rule.

All I smell in green illicit is cheap synthetic jasmine, some greenness and vanilla. I hate it. So expensive, totally not worth it
