I value Melissa’s opinion a lot. After I tried La Nuit De L’Homme I went and got a decant of each Tuxedo and Ambre Nuit. The way Melissa took that sniff and her eyes closed is the exact way I felt about Ambre Nuit, at $330 a bottle it was a tough choice but wearing it makes you feel so good and sophisticated. Tuxedo is great too but I can’t justify the $250 price tag for a fragrance I didn’t fall in love with.

@t.jmachete153 they do smell similar. But it is not an exact 1:1 comparison. Woody amber and rose and patchouli but both blended differently. Both are great sophisticated upscale fragrances but I think Ambre Nuit does it better, you can't go wrong with either one.

I blind bought a bottle of Tuxedo and when I first wore it thought it was ok. The patchouli was bothering me a bit. It’s only when I first started wearing it around people and received many comments on it that I started to love it 😃 I got all sorts of crazy reactions like “omg you smell delicious”, “that’s the sexiest thing I’ve ever smelled”, or “you smell yummy” So I guess I have to keep wearing it 😂 To be fair the smoky patchouli goes away after 15 minutes.

I bought tuxedo a few weeks ago I love the Patchouli smell. I get it more then the bourbon vanilla but all in all it smells really good

When I bought my bottle of Givenchy the sales girl at Neiman Marcus gave me a few sample bottles of YSL. One of which was Tuxedo. Sprayed it on a few weeks ago, and realized I should have bought that one instead.

Good morning all. I don’t comment too often (about my 3-4 comment). I am fairly new to fragrances but bought this from YSL for my going on a date with my wife (we have 7 kids) and for going to church fragrance (the two places I dress up) I went to put this on the for the first time a week ago. Just after I sprayed a few sprays my 4 year old daughter walked in and said “what smells so good”. I was like WHAT! My 4 year old said that! Hahaha. I love the scent and fits perfect for me. this video contradict those who say that " fragances smell better after years" no they dont, they might last a little longer and get bolder but when a fragance is brand new the top notes are more present than ever and the opening/mid/drydown stages evolve more smoothly, this is a perfect example of top notes fading off, she just said it herself, her old bottle got patchouli heavy, thats the same thing that happened to my tuxedo bottle after sitting in my closet for 3 years.

No it depends could been fake also the secnt profile is different for every cologne also they reformulate a lot as well and won't say anything about doing it

I finally got a sample of it. I love it going to get a bottle. I try to tell these people watch where you buy stuff. People will get fake shit and give false reviews about it. I don't care I will buy retail all day long cause I know I got the real shit. I trust the discounters site but I'm going to start buying all mine through retail
