Just a small correction, the top adjustment is for spring pre-load while the adjustment at the bottom is for rebound. This particular shock does not have compression damping adjustment.

You are correct. Thank you 👍

I just dewinterize my Super Meteor and the weather in Idaho went back down into the 20's. If Idaho needs snow I just have to get ready to ride.

LOL. I understand that. Road a thousand miles last week and today it 6 degrees outside. Wahoo!

The YSS RZ362 series is what was used on my mates Interceptor the one's without piggybacks which cost way more & overkill. The YSS shocks are great product & you'll love the difference.

Hello Fuzzy Biker! Thanks for the review and updates! After watching your videos I also purchased and installed the YSS RZ362-310TRL-03-88 shocks and played for a few days with the Rebound adjustment, as you did (3 clicks, 5 clicks, 2 clicks ...). I personally cannot observe any meaningful difference in ride quality compared with the OEM shocks. Have you adjusted the pre-load and/or ride height as well? Does it take some mileage for the shocks to wear in? I'm 100kg and left the "factory setting" of the pre-load untouched. Appreciate your comments in advance! Thank you.

Spring preload was set for a person of my weight. We checked that against the instructions on sag and it was within spec. For the Rebound I'd start with a ride about half way between softest and hardest. Go ride the bike a 50-100 miles and see what you think. If the ride was hard go five clicks softer. If the ride was to soft go five clicks harder. After adjusting go ride another 50-100 miles on the same type roads and make more adjustments as needed. I did this over about 300 miles and feel that it worked very well. Just rode that bike over 700 miles in two day and feel that YSS shocks really made that trip much better. Great product but really must be adjusted in to get the best value.

Just ordered YSS piggybacks for my Hunter, can't wait to get and install them. Stock shock is incredibly bad.

Did a hundred miles on the Super Meteor with YSS today to try and get them tuned in. Will try and ride about 300 miles tomorrow and more the next day. Should have a good idea on these very soon. Wahoo!

I live in Thailand where they make these shocks but they are not really that cheap here either---well much better than Ohlins ...i am very curious to see how they work out--i have a new Triumph 400X that you test rode and i am curious what YSS would so for them especially the front forks the shock seems ok but ideally for the crappy rough roads here having adjustable suspension of a bit higher quality is interesting to me--basically a lot of roads here are gravel pothole type senarios--looking forward to your thoughts on these.

Planning a 500 - 1000 mile ride over the weekend (weather dependent) to test these beauties out. Only have 30 miles on them and already like them but that was all on smooth road. Will do videos on these soon. Wahoo!
