Salaamun alaykum, Dr. Hany. This surah reminds me of Surah Al-Haqqah and its step by step stages, which will reveal one after another rather suddenly. Thank you for this presentation including the opposite terminologies like Muhtadoon (who return to the original text of the scriptures) and Mujrimoon (butchers and separators of the scriptures). Also how true that the deniers do not capitulate and remain speechless by cutting off the relationship with the Muhtadoon. It is a scary reality indeed. The time has indeed started.

Salaamun Alaykum, Alhamdulillah! Example of Kofta/kebab was incredible. Yes, before this new understanding, verses of Quran didn't sit well with each other. They were like: one moment you taste something, other moment its a totally different taste left you confused thinking 'what is it'. Now with Quranic methodology, it is fully coherent, homogeneous kofta. With every bite, the taste becomes richer and deeper leaving you satisfied, but still wanting more and more. الحمد للله الذى هدانا لهذا

Salaamun Alaykum. Alhamdulillah. Hope not too late to make a comment. Many of us look or understand the Qur'an (or the interpretation) differently. The Qur'an is for all mankind upon its revelation by the will and decree of Allahh SWT though our beloved SAWS. It is preserved till end of time, which means it was for the past, for the present and for the future. Unfortunately some regard the Qur'an like a history book, applicable only in the past. Pretty much so the interpretation already locked 1400 years ago. Thereafter are only required to follow as interpreted. Part of the interpretation is to look or wait for 'The Promise'. To some it is the coming of Imam Mahadi (the rise of Islam again) and others the end of time and the resurrection. Unfortunately many missed the present. The authoritativeness of the Qur'an becomes diluted and at the same time the narrations become more dominant. Now we have the real opportunity to learn form the past, work and toil on the Qur'an (scripture) in the present to 'Take Us' to the future - rather than to prepare for the future. Even if to prepare for the future, we need to know what is the future or 'The Promise'. Otherwise, we are heading the wrong destination or having a misguided purpose. The promise is the pivot point of the whole النَّبَإ الْعَظِيمِ An Naba 'il3adzeem (The great news). Part of working in the present to take us to the future, we need guidance. What is better than direct divine guidance? In order to achieve the guidance we need to communicate with Allahh directly and to do this is by understanding and applying the message given to us. To understand the message and increase our believe with certainty we need evidence. Thus the evidence-base عilm. The understanding will be made available again - and this is the Promise. The time and opportunity is now, the present. Woe at that time (now) to the beliers! Better to be the muttaqoon (disciplined believer) rather than the mujrimoon (butcher of interpretation) or the mukazziboon (belier of the terminology and the promise). Jazakallahu Khair Dr Hany for sharing. "Our lord! Strengthen our resolve, and steady our steps!" Looking forward to the next segment...إن شاء الله

Look up the videos about Jahannam starting from YT137 to YT140. There is no ''judgment day'' in the Qur'an, it was brought in from biblical sources, but day of accountability _yawmul'hissab_ for each one, almost the moment he/she are borne and after they die.
