There are differences between the driving modes: Tour is softest and all of the exhaust is routed through the complete exhaust system because no valves are open, Sport opens up valving in the exhaust and stiffens the suspension, and Performance allows the torque vectoring rear differential to work so that it handles better with less understeer. With this much power, oversteer is always a possible problem :) Overall, a fantastic car. I have a 2017 in grey metallic and have outperformed many vehicles that have badges that contain the letters M, RS, S, V, or AMG. It truly is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

there is actually a 4th "TRACK" mode as well. fine tunes the throttle feel for less tip in (ideal for when you need to more finite control at speed on say a road race course) you need to double tap the TC button to enable.

My favorite car! But the 2017, especially with the manual, are going for closer to $40k now with "average" mileage...

It has everything and guess what? It was made in Adelaide in South Australia, it's a Holden Commodore SSV and was rebadged to the States as a Chevy SS. This car was designed and built in OZ...........

i have the vz commodore 2006 sv6,190 kw,3.6 alloytec,5spd auto w/paddle shift,very capable car,has put the wind up several v8s, aussie made.

They made so few in 6 speed manual they will be $250g to 500 g in twenty years. The last Chev 4 Door muscle car.

I have a very similar car, even the same colour. Differences: mine is right hand drive, has a supercharger (so a few more HP) and is called a Calais rather then SS kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4Kvg6loes-mo5I
