About 3 or 4 years ago I created about 10 minutes a Star Trek TNG episode by taking scenes out of the context, but never uploaded it until now. Enjoy.

I can't believe how good this is. There's actually an A plot and B plot just like in the original show. The editing was brilliant, too. So many YTPs rely too heavily on adding goofy shit and memes when the real magic comes from creative cuts and creating situations that actually have set up and payoff in unexpected ways. Ya know, like an actual joke! And the editing here absolutely lands! Great pacing, splicing of different scenes, and actual narrative building. This is a silly thing with silly humor but it is absolutely a work to be proud of having taken the time to create.

This is an absolutely legenardy KZbin poop. That this was created in 2011 (description says 3 - 4 years before uplaod date) is amazing. Back then youtube poops were almost exclusively random earape, reversing and sound corruptions. This ytp truly was ahead of it's time, even at it's upload date. Not to mention that it is genuinely funny due to having good jokes and a coherent storyline, not just due to the random sillyness of it.

It gets very dark in space at night and the crew needs brave people for night time work.
@jmorton3462 Жыл бұрын
@@Vilavek here's my hypothesis "In scenarios where the captain's sleep schedule influences the ship's operations, the night crew may adopt a more risk-averse approach during the captain's off-duty hours. This precautionary measure ensures that critical decisions or actions requiring the captain's input are deferred until they are available, reducing the potential for errors or miscommunication. The night crew prioritizes maintaining the ship's stability and safety by focusing on routine tasks, monitoring systems, and conducting maintenance activities while awaiting the captain's return. Once the captain is back on duty, they provide guidance and make necessary adjustments based on their assessment of the situation, ensuring continuity and consistency in the ship's operations."

The audio and video at 0:20 is actually a skit from Tim and Eric if I recall correctly (not sure which one). As for the movie being played at 7:56, I dug around on some old hard drives to try to find the source materials for when I made this YTP 10 years ago but sadly they are gone, and I honestly don't recall what the film is called. I think 10 years ago I just did a KZbin search for "cheesy fight scene" or something similar and just picked one of the top results.

I have like several 10 - 15 second clips I made, for example someone says a scripted line on the show, and in my mind, what was said makes me think of something. So what I did was put what I think after that short TNG clip. Only reason I haven't uploaded them is because I was concerned about copyrights and such. Did you have any issues uploading this video and any warnings about copyright?

Nice! I have never had any issues after uploading any of my content. Though, I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I haven't monetized my channel so I make no money on any of it even if KZbin runs ads.
