wow this is exactly the vid i’ve been looking for! i think yours is the only one on YT. you showed all the different ways to wear the chain and with the original PA too. I had no idea it was bigger! i have seen another video and it looks like it is the same size as the regular model. i also really want the chain to use for my other bags so for me it makes sense to pay and extra £85 just for the chain. i just wish they could have matched the chain to the strap and done an oval one too

They are going to make another monogram in the summer a part of their limited edition line. Hopefully that is Empreinte as I do believe this piece will be more flexible in a leather option.

Love this piece in the slightly bigger size. The mod shot’s were awesome! It makes such a cute day bag to run errands. I have the monogram vernis amaranth red it’s such a beautiful color

Hello, I love mine it is the old one with the trunk logo on it. I use mine as my wallet/catch all. I have a pro max so it wouldn’t even. But it does fit in my pochette, with both. Thanks for you Demo. Enjoy yours 🫶🏻

LV should compensate you for this video. They received so much criticism for this piece and pricing butttt you did a great job showing how it could be the perfect piece for someone. I have the mini pochette in DE and an oval chain from organize my bag. I want to try the belt bag look this summer when I’m chasing after my littles 😅

I have the original version that I purchased many, many years ago so I didn’t pay nearly as much as it costs now. It was one of my first LV purchases so it must be like 16 years old now. I paid a lot less for it back then so I didn’t have an issue with repurchasing the new version because I wanted a new one I could use strictly as a mini bag. The additional longer chain was exactly what I wanted. It is such a beautiful chain too. It sparkles so much and looks like a piece of jewelry. I personally was fine with paying the extra money for the added chain but I’ll be honest, I don’t see a size difference from my older model. 😂 I do love this piece and now I have 2! 🤷🏻‍♀️ You made the right choice especially that you didn’t have it in your collection. You will definitely find many uses for it.

Oh wow that’s a long time! Hopefully I’ll have it in my collection for that long or more. Fitting a phone seems to be the biggest difference but size could really be the same as prior versions. Based on the LV dimensions, it’s a tiny bit bigger. Unsure either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It really is a cool little bag. I’ve really been enjoying it. ☺️

@@YadiraStyle I’d have to look at the date stamp to be sure but I know it is old and it still looks great. I use her now as a catch all. Occasionally I’ll wipe down the canvass and I’ll polish the hardware with a jewelry polishing cloth and she looks good as new. I never spray anything directly on it and I never use any chemicals. Just plain water. You’ll love it!

I guess since they kept selling the one without the chain (original mini pochette), there was no real point in having the two in their catalog. 😔 I do prefer it and received comments about it in the past so wished it was still around for purchase. Hopefully in the future-maybe a mini empreinte pochette with chain @louisvuitton ? 😊 🙏🏼 ❤️

I have 6 mini pochettes and they all are 6.1 in length. I think that they used to measure from piping to piping before and now they measure end to end. So it’s not actually bigger the new one with chain. Bought my first mini pochette in 2006 from Lv and paid 265 with tax. And at that time I thought that was so much money and now they’re 745 plus tax . If you look at the website it’s measurements is update for the mini pochette with no chain.

Hi Darine! Wow such a price difference! Great catch! The measurements from my screenshot of the mini pochette do differ from what is on the site today. That could be what they are measuring now or maybe the 2024 mini pochette is slightly bigger? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven’t purchased another mini pochette to check it out for myself. I do know that the mini pochette with chain has since been removed from the US site. Thanks for updating me on it! ❤️

I do have a Pochette that is slightly larger than my min and a bit larger than my OM … I think it was a bucket bag pochette at one time ? It’s a good size tho

Wish the Mini Pochette a little bit bigger to allow an easier access to cell phone, which is now larger and longer than previous ones. Like something small stylish, but at least practical and contains all the basics. 😊

The mini pochette with chain does come with the original mini chain and a longer chain like the Felicie bag. However, it does not look like it is in the website anymore. Maybe call to see if it can be ordered. I have the product code in the description section.

It's a nay for me. That tiny short chain is still irritating just as the original version to wear as crossbody, As 1 side is still higher than other making it look odd. Wish they design it so that the tiny chain can be remove when its worn as crossbody. Other than that yes its cute!

The bags no longer come with date codes. The change was revealed in 2021. Perhaps because this is classified as a small leather good. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Due to all the fakes new bags now have a microchip inside the bag. All the info is on the chip that can be read in store. I purchased a couple of Felcie Pochettes from store in 2021 and they had no code .

I got my pouchette this week I was looking at date code to see where it was made. The code said sf0282 I’m like what. I just bought January 2024. I Atleast expected 23. So I called. They said that code is for internal use only it is not a date code. It’s chipped in now. Hmm. He told me 6 years online it said 3 years. Anyway I was a bit upset. Anyone know if this is true?? Looked at my code and it does say 0223 which sounds like it sat around by the time I purchased it. But again, I think there was a lot of hesitation at first because they still had the regular mini pochette (or original, I should say) which was “cheaper” priced and made the one with chain seem “overpriced”? Idk. It made since for me and I actually really love it. 😍 But, back to the date code and to the response you receive, I always thought it was the week and year pieces were completed. Maybe it doesn’t really mean anything afterall. 🤷🏻‍♀️
