Generic links, and if you add destrudo, you can have ancient fairy, black rose, and dark strike fighter. Also Galaxy eyes cipher, full armor, and cipher blade

There are a couple of things you could play in the extra deck. Obviously Sarjuya Skull Dread is a great pick, but lair has access to some fusion monster that really ramp up the effectiveness of the deck. For example, to stop graveyard effects from happening, you can run a Dark Law in your extra deck and main deck a mask change. You can use Ancient fairy dragon to summon most of the monsters in the deck, and you can use things like starving venum fusion dragon and dark strike fighter to hit the opponent pretty hard. I hope this helps out!

Mind crush is so cool for this deck. Can combine it with the virus cards that let u see your opponents hand. Or with the old diabolos that lets u check out ur opponent's next top deck card

After not being into yugioh for 2 or 3 years these videos make me want to get back into yugioh, and really help me figure out what i need that i can afford, although i live in a really secluded area and there arent any card shops for over 40 miles and i dont have any friends to play so for now i guess i just have to stick to duel links.

I think the biggest problem of this deck is the lack of good and reliable trap cards directly from the Structure deck. The ATK and DEF restriction of the virus cards makes the deck feel less reliable and cloggy. I think the deck can become a lot stronger if one invests in better trap cards.

3x Torrential is definitely good in this deck. I've also seen a lot of players running 3x Back to the Front because you can use it to special summon Lilith from the grave, tribute her or another card you control to get her effect and then special summon Diablos from the grave. Or since Diablos Special summon effect limits him to only be summoned once per turn, you could summon 1 Diablos with his effect and use Back to the Front to summon another one from the grave to open up some lvl 8 XYZ plays.

Hey Team APS, Wanted to say thank you for making this video! I've been wanting to get back into the game but without any new cards let alone any link monsters at all I wasn't sure if I had much hope but this structure deck looked so fun that I had to try it and hopefully play at some locals! Anyway, I actually had a question about the synergy between Tour Guide and Lilith. In short, why is Lilith still able to activate her effect without it resolving if Tour Guide negates her effect? Just curious as to what you meant by still being able to do some neat things with her. All I could think of is maybe getting rid of your opponents monster as a tribute but it not actually doing anything else. Lol. Thanks though! Appreciate any feedback.

The phantom knight is affordable and good! I am pretty sure it comes with the 3 deck pack in Walmart the node in it is only for defense which is annoying. The blue eyes isn’t good as it seems I special summoned 4

Hey I wondering if you meant while you have no Darkest Diabolos in your hand and you use Ahrima's effect to tribute a dark type mobster on the field to add a Darkest Diabolos from your deck to your hand, do you get to Special Summon the added Darkest Diabolos directly from your hand using its own effect or does it miss timing..?

Yes, you get to special summon that Diablos that you just added to your hand through Ahrima as long as the monster you tributed for Ahrima's effect was one of your own monsters. You know that "(even if not)" part in Diablos summoning effect? That's the reason you can do this.

How does Diabolos Summoning effect work with the Timing? When does it miss the timing and when does it not?

Here is the summoning effect of the card: "If a DARK monster(s) you control is Tributed (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from the GY (if it was there when you Tributed) or hand (even if not)." What the first paranthesis means here is that, if you want to summon Diablos from your GY then he has to be there already before tributing one of your monster. For example let's say you control a DARK monster with a foolish burial like effect; "You can tribute this monster to send a monster from your deck to the GY", and you use that to send Diablos from the deck to the GY. You can't special summon Diablos because he wasn't there when that monster got tributed. The second one is a bit tricky, but what they mean with "(even if not)" is: "(even if it wasn't there when you tributed)". What this means is that you can special summon Diablos from your hand, even if he wasn't there when the monster got tributed. For example you control two DARK monster, One is Ahrima and the other one just any DARK. Ahrima has an effect that allows you to search for Diablos from your deck to your hand by tributing a monster you control (except for itself). If you use the effect of Ahrima to tribute that other monster and then search for Diablos, since you tributed a DARK monster you control, you can special summon him directly after adding him to your hand. Its well explained but not what I actually meant. Lets take an example: I have a Lilith and tribute her for her effect. The effect resolves, but when exactly can I summon Diabolos?(doesnt matter if he's in hand or grave) Hope you understand what I mean^^

If we apply the fact that we know Diablos can be special summoned after getting added to the hand by Ahrima's effect, that means Diablos effect gets activated after Ahrima has resolved it's effect. Otherwise Diablos would miss timing since Ahrima would tribute, then Diablos would be added to the hand but missed the timing. Basically after the effect of a card has resolved. But if there is a chain link where for example you respond to an opponents card with a virus card (which requires tribute), Diablos won't be summoned until that entire chain has resolved. In other words, Diablos will always be chain link 1 when summoned. Hope this helps you :)

So I was playing this deck - not this build, it was mostly my build, with a little inspiration for some of the ratios from Cimoooooo and TeamSam, but I opened a pretty good hand, it was like ahrima, lilith, double diabolos, and hand destruction, going second. But, it was a 4 person duel because my friends don't like 1v1s for some reason, and I was literally going second. So I had a good plan, discard Ahrima, get lair, normal lilith, tribute herself to do stuff, tribute opponent's monster with diabolos, but then my friend, playing Blue-Eyes, he dropped a Hope Harbinger. That kinda messed up my plan. I ended up having hand destruction and monster reborn and I was just like, "Enter scoop phase," and threw that hand down. You know, sometimes, Number 38 can be broken. 1 negation goes a long way.

Vicente Hernandez depends on ur deck. For budget players decode talker is your best bet. Using the elemental link monsters missus radiant mistar boy and duelittle chimera will help you make decode talker. Proxy dragon and link spider will also be your friend in these cases

I'm a casual that just kinda started out recently and to get into links I watched a bit of vrains then first bought a link starter deck to get the feel of them. They're pretty cheap and cost only a little bit more than buying just the one link monster. They also come with lots of other good cards that you could put in other decks.

If you have lair of darkness you can tribute a 1 DARK monster from your opponent field to use the card effect it just won't let you get the 3 traps, but if you want to get rid of a monster your opponent has, just use the combo I just gave you in this same reply
