Don't underestimate the monkey because of it's species and appearance as they are known to be quite clever and auspicious, able to always succeed, and if aggravated, can lead to pain those that oppose them,despite their caring nature. If you don't believe me, look up monkeys going berserk. You've been warned. 2. Carly, the white damsalle. If you don't know this reference, look up Rachelle from Silent Hill. Maybe that'll clarify a bit more. 3. Leo may be annoying, but don't underestimate his size and attitude as a weak duelist. Apparently the Japanese voice actress for Carly was in an actual cult. The studio fired her and had to make some changes to be clear that they don't support any cults. Originally Devack was meant to battle Luna. Leo probably could've faced Devack as well and become the original 5 Signer. Luna would duel him in the spirit world, and Leo in the physical world. Uniting together to simultaneously defeat Devack. There was also a change were Crow was going to be a Dark Signer and the final boss but, they changed the character because blackwing decks were so popular. Could've still made him a bad guy and then have a redemption arc later on

That theory makes no sense. Officer Trudge can't be the bully that beat up Joey, Tristan, and Yugi in the original series. For that to even be possible, the events of 5Ds would have to had happened immediately after Atem's spirit left for the afterlife. It just doesn't fit the time line.

Since so many episodes are flagged as “for kids” lemme just leave this here. Yugioh 5DS and Season 1 is peak Yugioh quality. Memorable Monsters, Likable Cast, every main character is active and likable and even better, likable side characters that contribute to the plot AND DUEL!!! Everyone in this series duels. There’s no “Oh you have a dark side. Everyone has a dark side. You should learn to enjoy dueling and have fun with it.” And there’s rarely ever anyone who’s giving exposition while in the middle of the duel. Also, this series is just one big Friendship Speech and Tea would be proud of that. God this season is miles above everything the OG and GX series did. And yes, that includes Battle City. Edit: I cant see Officer Trudge as anyone else but Atem himself because its the same voice actor.

Who else, inspired by this show, tried to form a Signers team with their friends or siblings? I almost succeeded, with the five of my siblings (sadly, no sixth) assembled like this, from oldest to youngest: myself, wielding a Dinosaur/Blue-Eyes Dragon deck with Stardust and Black-Winged Dragon, now with three Beatraptors and a few Dinowrestlers splashed in. [blue card sleeves] my first sister, wielding a mythical creatures and plants deck, with Black Rose Dragon (now Black Rose Moonlight Dragon also) [red card sleeves] my second sister, wielding a Fiend/Zombie/Evil Hero/Ra deck, with Doomkaiser and Red Dragon Archfiend, now the Draconecro Dragons as well (and her deck is brutal!) [yellow card sleeves] my half-brother, wielding a Red-Eyes and Machine/Cyberdark deck, with Power Tool and Stardust Dragon (now with Desperado Barrel Dragon and the Chimeratech fusions added in) [violet card sleeves] my half-sister, wielding a cute Beast deck, now a Beast/Fluffal/Frightfur deck, with Ancient Fairy Dragon [green card sleeves] Nowadays, only me and my sister who uses the Ra/Fiend/Zombie deck play with any regularity. We are a little too busy to enter tournaments, but I did play this past Spring in a small Gamestop hosted event day against a powerful Cyber Dragon deck, but there weren't many duelists who came, and this was before my deck got good at speed and searching out its dinosaurs. I won one duel and lost two, now my deck is much more vicious and powerful, with the Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon and Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon, and all around better deck construction.

8:40-11:30 Not trying to nitpick, but you really have to wonder about characters' thought processes at times? Like, did they ever at any point stop to wonder and ask "Is naming the four control panel things after the super evil monsters REALLY such a good idea?" "And is making these four *ONE-OF-A-KIND* dragon cards the only keys to the panels an even wiser idea?" Goodwin said he released the cards into the wild. Did he just throw out the window or something and let the wind carry them away? What if they fell in a river or got run over by a truck? And yeah, I know, within the context of the story, it makes sense because of destiny. But I can't help but ask these kinds of questions because there are just so many ways that a setup this convoluted could've realistically backfired on them.

IDK about Jack getting Archfiend, but I kinda assume it's the same if Jack's parents knew Yusei's father and got the card from him (considering Jack despite being an orphan knows who both his and Yusei's parents are). The real question is how Crow has such a cohesive archetype despite finding his cards in the trash. And my only answer is that he started collecting the Blackwings, and stole most of the rest from Sector Security.

That's it, I'm gonna say it. I think it would be cool for Leo to be a Dark Signer. I know he becomes a Signer anyway but, it's so late. Besides, each Signer and Dark Signer has some kind of history with eachother (Yusei and Kalin) or forced to be enemies (Jack and Carly). Why not really make it tragic by forcing two twins to duel eachother to the death? Also, Leo definitely would try to find ways to help Yusei and Co. Despite being a Dark Signer. He's a spunky lil guy, he isn't gonna give up easily.
