I can almost assure you The Fiendsmith will not get touched till Jan 2026 in the TCG, they will milk a few reprints first. Hence why they banned Lacrima so early. They wanted to keep the engine going for a while without it being too big of a problem but tbh look at flamberge its still here. So you never know their logic.

@@briandukes5721 Not really. Cards liks D Shifter can shut an entire turn when you depend on graveyard to play. A handtrap like ash can stop u if u dont have anything else to play but cards like shifter or droll or G puppet with lingering effects can kill u

I know what you mean by that, but... As someone who has been playing TCG for about 4 month after a 13 year break i would say that this sentence has alot of marrit. For example: I play Centur-Ion (since I liked the deck in masterduel I got it when the nem support came out in rage of the abyss) and i have won a few game 2 or game 3s just because of deck lockdown. if someone would use your citation after I floodgated them with it, I would be 100% on their side. Konamis banlist is waaaaaaaaaay to stupid/oriented on making money that a statement like that is wrong in general. Myb I seem like a hater rn, but I really think that there are cards that need to be banned for the health of the game and arent so Komoney can make some more Cash.

This list definitely makes sense. I can see Konami putting back Snake-Eyes Poplar back to 2 if they ban Flamberge so that Snake-Eyes can at least do their link plays consistently. I can see them limiting Wanted and potentially Bonfire, just since they got reprinted. A card they could ban is S:P Littleknight since it follows Konami's trend to banning a highly anticipated ED card like Apollusa and Baronne after a Rarity Collection reprint. Diabellestar is also looking to might get a small hit in the upcoming banlist, possibly a semi-limit, but doubt a hard limit. The reprints in Rarity Collection are always a target to getting hit in the banlist. The only other hit that could be banned would be Terraforming. I feel like they might make a few adjustments since for the last year or 2, the power of field spells have been getting too strong and banning Terraforming would indirectly hit them, since Raziel and Maliss have field spells along with other decks like Yubel and Tenpai that would be affected.

Great points, I would only strengthen your Bonfire indecision tbh , for the same reason as terraforming. Hitting Bonfire hurts breakers sale value since its used in ryz. It would be a more profitable option for konami to leave it alone. Poplar also isn’t the problem - berge is like you said -Lastly Bonfire isn’t like rota (that deserves a limit) in the sense that pyro isn’t a generic overwhelming card type with endless options past and future like warrior. Same concept as to why a card like Allure survived and or if a “Dragon” generic searcher existed would deserve a limit/ban due to past and future cards.

@@justaperson4866 Yeah. I don't think they will hit Bonfire this banlist for your stated reasons. I am only stating it as a possibility because of how RC just reprinting it and Konami shortly after hits the cards in the ban list. That's really the only reason for at least Bonfire. Most likely the one after the December banlist, it would get hit to 1 or 2. Wanted for sure is going to 1, it had a long enough period of time at 3 and the RC reprint is going to push the card to going to 1 in the next list. Also, Deceptions has pushed the Sinful Spoil engine to being too good now with the inclusion of the Azamina fusions.

I only wonder if Ryzeal and malice and breakers sell enough for konami.. and it makes them enough money, along with the new decks power creep (like we all anticipate it to) and enough players have them - Is any ban necessary? Id guess over half of the player base has never even gotten to experience SE and wanted azamina and witch in person until RC (only through videos) and Id say most people arent tired of it by a long shot and could make konami a lot of money in Q1 Plus with the success of bonanza : for them to ban everything directly after release would set a precedent for future sales and potential rebuyers to the new sets and would destroy what they are seeing as a clear winner in the market ; profit wise and demand wise.

@@justaperson4866 After the first RC, with Baronne ban after finally getting an affordable copy of the card was a huge sting for me. It just means once a big reprint set happens, Konami is fine hitting the cards in a ban list. Since they got the money from the reprints by selling that product, they will hit the reprinted cards in a ban list, to sell the new cards they have in the pipeline. It's been like this all the time, but usually there would be longer periods of time before they would resort to putting reprinted cards into a banlist, usually a year for a generic good card reprint. Reprinted from RC1 Baronne didn't get to last 6 months before it went to the ban list and will probably never return in TCG. The Breakers set is going to sell a lot. It features 2 meta based archetypes so opening a box is going to get you a good deal of building these 2 archetypes. Since 9/10 of the ultras are from Raziel and Maliss, it's going to be fine for most people to buy a box or 2, get some of either archetype, then buy singles for the rest. It's a pretty safe box to open, since you are going to get the meta cards, and a box has 4 ultras plus a chance for qcr or collector's rare so if you were a seller, you can potentially get your money back or even profit if you pulled a qcr or collector's of the meta cards. Also, the next core set for TCG will have further support for Raziel and Maliss so it will get stronger. Most competitive players will spend the money and are fine playing either Raziel or Maliss for around 6 months, playing a competitive deck that has a proven track record in OCG.

@@voidlockdragon1406 We really are both reading from the same playbooks haha I hear you loud and clear and agree with you I think breaker will sell well too and why I believe they dont have to worry about the previous top contender decks and archetypes as much as people think And is why I simply believe they can leave them for the players who can afford them now but not ryzeal or maliss ; so they make money both ways. In regards to them previously banning Apo or BDF directly after - goes to the point of “Generic” Compared to “Relevant” Those types of cards have no place openly for any deck to abuse which is why they had to go for future sales and Which is why IP or SP could be hit and I would understand. But cards only “great” during relevancy only hurts konami long term.

I am a returning player and I thought about getting Tenpai because it's insanely cheap for such a strong deck. Of course I won't get it before the banlist and I can see it being hit 100%. In the ocg it stll performs so how bad canTenpai be hit and still function well enough on at least a regional level for some tops?

Literally if all the cards got hit to one it would still survive. Its a deck that is so linear and so hit or miss that you would just run more hand traps and board breakers till you saw any of your dragons

Love this channel but here we go again with "banlist prediction" fever. Anyway I wish pot will be back at two or even three since the limit really didn;t make much of a difference on anything. Shifter should be at one since it's a brick 50 percent of the time and I actually want beckoning beast to one and the circle to one on the yubel side. 1 phantom is slowly becoming the more default choice anyway.

I dislike Tenpai but that's what got me back to my locals because the entire deck cost me under $100 (including ash, imperm and droplet $150). It's a cheap deck and it's sad that most other meta decks cost 2-3x that price point just to play consistently and keep up.

I really like your predictions except for a couple of cards. I would ban OSS so that fire decks decrease de consistency of opening with that level one and Start the one card combo. Also, on limited I'll put bonfire and wanted. Bonfire will be unfair at 3 with ryzeal.

You think their unhealthy because they stop your broken combo deck. It's the exact opposit. Most floodgates help balance the game and limit what brikem Meta combo decks can do. Skill drain,Gozen Match and ,Rivalry are completely fair and healthy cards to counter Meta decks and give rogue decks the time to compete against them.
