Nice video bro, all 4 parts were awesome. But I still find it difficult to break through boards with tons of negate and disruption. Are you planning to make videos about this? You can upload matches going second and share your thoughts on how to deal with some situations. Also, do you sometimes put savant newton in the deck, cause when combined with 2 card combos, you can build a field with extra lock xyz, synchro, link. I did manage to build a god board with fusion, synchro, xyz, link lock.

i get what you mean, that‘s why there are some combos without gryphon as well. But tbh just because there is a normal summon with gryphon in hand you cant really end on anything meaningful, which is why I consider this a brick as well. For example if i only have swirl and gryphon in hand and nothing else, i can only go into gilgamesh and set scales if i go first. And that board is for the current powerlevel super weak, even if you float into an armageddon when gilga gets destroyed

6:40 , level 4 ragna would be better as it goes to the gy you can reborn it with genghis to trigger it's effect to reborn little ceaser, getting you a 3k defense body. it ain't much but it's honest work

What would we have to end on if our opponent used maxx c and what would the optimal combo be?

that‘s a really good question! Maxx C is very tough if it got resolved. It depends on the deck knowledge you have about your opponent and your specific hand. Typically Maxx C gets resolved when you want to special gryphon from hand. From that point onwards, you have to decide whether you have enough gas to get to a baronne/siegfried really fast + a big caesar to insulate you from all big handtraps. If you don‘t have the gas for that, go to a gilgamesh and pass or a machinex and pass, cause the more cards, the riskier it gets

Show me how to play going second against full negate board, every ddd player know that the deck has an incredible potential, but the deck is still rogue and you will struggle against meta

the thing is, if your opponent has four or more negates and he knows all of our chokepoints, the deck does not have enough gas to play around it. If it did it would have been tier 1. No sugarcoating. This deck struggles a lot with negates + destroy effects like baronne or crystal wing, book effects like rescue ace and quick pops like a ghost ogre or princess. The only way you can outmaneuver a board like that is when the board itself has only negates which leave our monsters on the field. With swirl and gryphon in hand you can play through 3 of these kind of negates, if your opponent just shotguns every negate. If you‘re up against a good player and he sets up a full degenerate shs board, you have only gas in hand without any ht or boardbreaker and he knows what you‘re up to. Yeah no, you won‘t play through that.

outing a full horus board for example, is okay to do. since they do not do as much. Outing a full tear board with winda and the dark world guy out, is not possible, assuming your opponent knows how to play against the deck
