DISCLAIMER At minute 7:09 onwards I said that you could go into Dark Arma as well. This is sadly not true since Dark Arma needs 2 D/D/Ds to overlay! Since Thomas is not a D/D/D, the option will not be available. Thx for everyone who pointed it out to me! :)

Calling this still an Beginner's Guide is a bit of an understatement. After part 2 it felt already more advanced then most guides on an deck archtype. Hope to see more D/D/D videos and maybe a bit more support in the future from Konami!

I finally made it here, it's really tough to master D/D/Ds again. They feel much more different than how they were played before Gilgamesh was played, and also very different from duel links. Do you think Fiendsmiths will get big Caesar banned? Have you thought about doing a duel links guide as well? or Perhaps another archetype once you finish this one?
@DifferentDimensionDreamer4 ай бұрын
Yo! It‘s tough, but hang in there! You‘ll get it in no time, especially since you‘ve learned the hardest version of D/D/Ds previously. Gilga just streamlined a lot of combos. That‘s such a good point with big caesar! I was debating with my friends about it, but we‘ve came to realize that beatrice will be banned way before caesar. It‘s unlikely imo since caesar is not the worst in the list of broken endboard pieces. But if that day ever comes, lemme asure you, I‘ll come up with the most evil decklist if they take our caesar away lmao I have never tried duel links and the playstyle just feels to different from regular yugioh so idk. Maybe I‘ll give it a shot, but it‘s not my plan. As for other decks, I was thinking about it a while ago haha. Rn I mainly do D/D/D content, but if I discover a deck that intrigues me like D/D/Ds I might upload some videos about that, to change it up a bit :)

@@DifferentDimensionDreamer oh yeah, no worries, also a problem i've been having with my d/d/deck is match up against tenpai... i feel like there's no counter for them except maybe patent license and siegfried or eternal darkness
@susperson54765 ай бұрын
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer i was also wondering if you have a discord server or something so i can reach out to you or active d/d/d players for advice and stuff
@DifferentDimensionDreamer5 ай бұрын
@@susperson5476 funnily enough, we have a really good match up against tenpai, if we go full combo imo. Many people think that our boss monsters are useless against them, because of tenpai‘s damage step clause. But our big caesar can in fact be activated during the damage step, since he negates the activation of the effect. So if chundra goes into the damage step and wants to special out another dragon you can go cl2 big caesar negate and pop their dragon. The only way tenpai players can out this is by hard drawing 2 boardbreakers that kill of big caesar and siegfried simultaneously, so yeah. Just go full combo another thing that tenpai players are really bad at (depending on the hand) is to remove monsters that have battle protection. So sometimes if your match got grindy and they have depleted themselves from resources, you can chill on your rage and they can‘t really do much. Additionally, if your machinex is still live, you can cl2 machinex onto their bident dragion if they wanna revive one of their dragons again. And if they don‘t have any other dragon to quick synchro with you have just destroyed their lvl 10 synchro line But tbh i wouldn‘t stress about tenpais because it‘s a deck where they either have it (topdeck luck) or they don‘t. So just doing full combo is doing plenty

I can't wait for the next part of the guide! I have a doubt in the meanwhile: for a tcg decklist is it better to main deck White armageddon or gust high Alexander?
@DifferentDimensionDreamer5 ай бұрын
It will be almost always bright arma sadly :/ Bright arma has great utility by offering targeting protection and since so many people run like 15 handtraps and the majority of them target, bright arma is awesome! High gust king alex is my most favourite high king design wise but he is only useful to get over towers. I wish he would have come out with protection to justify running him

@ParadoxMania135 ай бұрын
@@SamTheMan010 The combo is the pinned comment under the "Basic 2 card Combos" Video. Dreamer summs up everything there is to know very well in this series. But if you want practice go into Master Duel deckbuilder and "Draw 5 sample cards". Look at your hand and try to figure out the most optimal play there is. Yesterday I got full combo with a hand I thought was a brick at first. If you have all the cards IRL grab your deck and copy the "Draw 5 sample cards" hand and try to combo with your IRL cards which makes it a lot easier to keep track of all the steps. But basicly you wanna hit certain breakpoints with your cards like "2 DDs for Gilgamesh" "2 LV 4s for Caesar" and then just figure out what the cards needed are to get to this breakpoints. Every start hand is different so it is a lot of learning by doing IMO. even with all the help from videos and spreadsheets there are on the internet.
