Anyways, since the cards are quite new, the most optimal decklist and combo for every combination has not been found yet. So feel free to let me know right away if you know a better line or decklist, since I really appreciate your insight :D UPDATED COMBO LINES: Coper + Gryphon (Ends on Caesar, Machinex, Siegfried, Headhunt and Gilga): Normal Coper (no foolish), special Gryphon, go into Gilga, Scale Orthros and Ragna, pend coper and gryphon, coper foolish scale, scale bounce back orthros, go caesar, go tell, tell activate burn detach caesar, go machinex with gilga, trigger ragna revive caesar, special orthros with ragna burn, link tell and caesar off into gilga, cl1 search swamp caesar cl2 foolish necro with tell, fuse into genghis with necro, fuse into 2bd genghis with swamp king, revive gryphon with genghis, gryphon grab headhunt, go into big caesae, go into siegfried, set headhunt Count + Gryphon (Full Combo, but needs 2 Orthros. Otherwise it costs 3 Gilga) SS count pitching gryphon, search kepler, NS kepler, kepler search gate, gate search orthros, link to gilga, gilga scale orthros + ragna, SS orthros through burn effect of gilga, ragna revive gryphon, gryphon search headhunt, gryphon and orthros into sieg, pend out gryphon and orthros again and do the lines for caesar and machinex

Hello Friend! I just Discovered that there was a Third D/D Pendulum Monster that Got Announced! D/D Extra Surveyor! Pendulum Effect If a face-up Monster Card(s) your opponent controls is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 "D/D/D" monster you control; banish 2 cards from your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, the targeted monster can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. You can only use this effect of "D/D Extra Surveyor" once per turn. Monster Effect You can discard this card; add 1 face-up "D/D" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck to your hand, except "D/D Extra Surveyor". If this card is banished: You can banish cards from the top of your opponent's Deck equal to the number of face-up Pendulum Monsters in their Extra Deck, then you can make 1 "D/D" monster you control gain 200 ATK for each card banished by this effect. You can only use each monster effect of "D/D Extra Surveyor" once per turn.

22:19 you link off with ceasar, ceasar CL1 scale CL2 bounce gryphon, get gate, search swirl and fuse into genghis, ragnarok ss gryphon, gryphon CL1 search orthros genghis CL2 ss ceasar, go tell burn for 1K, link tell and gilgamesh for another gilgamesh, dump necro then fuse into another genghis, xyz into big ceasar then ss orthros with swirl and go siegfried then machinex with the link. you end on full board minus headhunt like that. good video though!

Oh my god, I really appreciate these guides of yours! I'm from Colombia and the truth is that there aren't many tutorials in Spanish that help you play the D/D/D deck. Without a doubt, this is one of the best guides and it has helped me a lot. Still, I think for new players, that is the hardest point in the combo. @@DifferentDimensionDreamer The way I tried going at it was by categorizing into a couple of different scenarios, thinking of all the combinations and what they actually do for all the combos (so kinda brute-forcing by testing all the options 😂...) Don't have Gryphon but need him? -> Gryphon + Thomas (or Gryphon + Ragnar in some cases where you draw necro, so you can pitch the patent license) Have Gryphon? -> generally Orthros + Ragnar, which seems to be the strongest pair to go for. Sometimes Orthros + Thomas to get Orthros back, if you need Siegfried. (If you draw Thomas or Ragnar you can, after destroying Orthros, place the other one, to get both effects. The scales are 5 + 6, but Machinex can fix that. Helps to get that extra Siegfried) Then there's the 1 card combo with Rage and Cerberus. Lastly, some really rare cases where you go Kepler, if you really need that Thomas from hand into Kali Yuga.

honestly man i have to thank you for these vids, they really showed i was only going like 40% my deck's power (my end board would be random as hell but mostly end with high king ghengis or sig + machinex with 2-3 materials) with no interuptions, but now i can, with even things like getting hit with droll, still make a decent to good end board and still have interuptions in hand. in just a few spans of a month after discovering these videos i go from barley seeing a turn or 2 against my buddy who uses voiceless voice to 2-0'ing him whilst only owning 2 gilgamesh's. im so glad that we finally got support just so we can hit with shifter 😂

ok watched the video, that was incredible spreadsheet, few things i would change its to remove one for one i think the card its too negy, whenever i drew it i felt like losing, copernicus for me its a very good card i dont know if i would cut it to 2, but the card i would cut to 2 its kepler, because there were many times i would drew kepler plus gates and searching swamp didnt felt so good, but im not sure i ahvent play the deck since throne came out, sth i lke very much its Vice requiem its very good going second and its an ok extender

It didn't make our endboard stronger at all just more consistency for the deck. But in my opinion it was consistent enough. And now with the new support which is unnecessary for me, we have less space for handtraps and all. They should've give us an easy possibility only for d/d/d to summon d/d/d kali yuga in the opponents turn. This would make d/d/d a meta deck.

Hey D/D/Dreamer, what are your thoughts on which version of D/D has the best chances of topping in tournaments? I think the weakest point of D/D is that we only have one spell/trap negate during the opponent’s turn, which makes us vulnerable to board breakers. In my opinion, the full-armored version of the deck addresses this issue with Kali Yuga being summoned during the opponent's turn, but I’d really like to hear your thoughts on this.

Yeah that version is very nice for disruption. But in my opinion has more weird combos I guess. I'm sticking with the pure version cuz I prefer character deck builds . But I trued the full armor version and it's awesome

Hey Rodrigo! very cool question. The thing about the kali yuga version is that although its endboard is stronger than the usual pure D/D/D one, I have yet to see a build which is able to do the lock consistently on the opponents turn. Because as far as I‘ve seen, the most popular kali yuga decks were the armored xyz package with cross-sheep or the one with thrust and both either suffered from chokepoint negation (on cross-sheep) and inconsistence. Right now it is very hard to top a tournament with our deck without giving us additional support, but imho i really believe that the pure D/D/D build is still the best version of the deck, just because it is more versatile than the others

I do hope we get some more proper D/D/D's as well. Still hoping for a High King version of Gilgamesh and perhaps a Link Super Doom King, perhaps it could be the first Link Pendulum card in the game.

ik there are, but i have yet to see an application for that card. Extra surveyor is not great at all, since his level is awkward, his scale too and his effect is super niche, because it‘s basically anti-pendulum. But the problem is, who plays pend in the first place aside from us

Hey Shori, very cool question. The support was great in the sense of giving us more consistency. That being said tho, this deck is simply not meta-viable atm. Our consistency cards do not always stack great with eachother, so we cannot trade with handtraps that well compared to SE or FK. Going 2nd is very hard if you don‘t know the deck well and the potential going 2nd is not the best either. But if you want to look for a deck which challenges you but rewards you tenfold when u do it right, u found it :D! there are so many different combos to do depending on ur hand. Therefore, each game feels and plays out super differently. It‘s like rediscovering new things from something u though u knew already

Which combo do you prefer if I got maxx c condition? Make effective board with small amount of summon as possible. I try DDD deck many times and I keep making Gilgamesh into Machinex and hope my handtrap is enough.

really depends on your opponent and the deck that they‘re playing. If they play a deck, which can‘t deal with our endboard either way, risk it and full combo. If they play something like centurion, give them the free draw 2 and end on machinex cuz one machinex is usually enough to break them. does the deck target destroy? end on gilga and hope that they dont read. Afterwards u can float into bright

Dude I just noticed you're right. The coper gryphon combo shown here did not get stronger and the cost went up aswell. But on turn 3, you could scale machinex on standby to set scale from the grave and special out ragna for an OTK tho, which was not an option before that. But idk if that payoff is worth it.

with hand consisting with count, swirl slime and kepler, can you send swirl to the grave to special summon count, counts effect = get ragnar, banish swirl to special summon ragnar and then go into kali yuga, if they stop swirl they just lost a negate and you can go into a 1 card combo with Kepler. can that work?

Hey Shea! Sadly you cannot do that with count, since it can only search a monster with atk/def 0. Ragna does have atk and a lot of defense, which is why count can’t search for it! Alternatively, you could just fuse swirl and count into big genghis, normal kepler, chainlink 1 kepler search gate, chainlink 2 big genghis revive count. That gives you two level 8 bodies for kali or any other rank 8 you wanna play. Your opponent can‘t imperm or ash kepler, because of the chain block and the s/t negate of big genghis. This is a quite durable combo, only loosing to a veiler in hand. But even if that‘s the case, you can just extend the play from there since count is already in the grave and you could just revive it with ragna as a scale

i would rather play less swrill and less kepler as swirl doesn't do a thing byitself and kepler is now more accessible + count replaces throne so you can even put fiendsmith engine if you want or go like spe count search scale spe scale link into moon into requiem into lacrima into necroquip into sequence into desirae.

depends on the use case. What are u using rage for? If you only need him as a scale for the 1 card combo you can cut him out for scale. But if you need him for anti handtrap lines, there is sadly no alternative

I was super hesitant on cutting one for one, but I did and never looked back. The reason one for one is not played anymore is because count surveyor is simply an upgrade of one for one. While it is more restrictive, when it goes of, it extends our plays unbelievably well

Why summoning Kali Yuga on your turn? That isn't the most valuable way to take advantage of Kali Yuga effects, rather of should be summoned on opponent's turn IMHO.

depends on the match up. While the lock itself is very useful if you play the armored xyz package, kali itself is still a heavy storm on legs. So if you know your opponent plays a trap heavy deck that can‘t activate anything on their turn, passing with kali becomes an immediate threat to them, since at their end phase we can just nuke their backrow before it was even live, while resetting our own.
