I think he could have saved his cards when Rose was summoned, correct me if I'm wrong but he had Dark Magic Expanded on the field and that card says that if you have 2 dark magicians on the field and or graveyard your spells or traps cannot be destroyed on that turn

nope, he didn't have any dark magicians on the field or in grave, so Dark Magic Expanded cannot be activated. Edit: NVM card of demise put two in the grave. Could have saved his cards.

Was planning on watching Arc V tonight, but found these and just had to watch! great duels. Doesn't matter if mistakes may have been made at times, what matters is it was fun, and it was definitely fun to watch, so many swings and roundabouts to both duels (mostly the first). Will you be doing any Link style duels in the near future? I know there are not too many link cards out there so far, but would be fun to see you guys play duels with the link format and how different certain decks will have to be played.

The dude playing DM, in the beginning you could have use DM Expanded to save all your traps and spells by activating it. Since you had 2 DMs in the GY. Also, you probably could have done better to exploit the Eternal Soul and DM circle engine.

Why would you set non-quick-play spells like raikeki? You can only use them on your turn and you can play them straight from your hand and don't have to wait a turn like you do have to for a trap

So you could’ve chained eternal soul to black rose by ss dm then using rod effect from the gy to tribute dm and get rod back to hand and re set your board for next turn

8:10 you should have chained Dark Magic Expanded to save your spell and trap cards because you had sent 2 Dark Magicians to the graveyard the turn before.

Maybe try a tag duel (or series of tag duels) starting with dragons v dragons (red eyes and blue eyes on 1 team dark magician and dark magician girl on the other)

it activates only once per turn whe ebon's controller attacks with a normal spellcasster

I knew that it activated from a normal spellcaster monster, I just wasn't sure if they could do a direct attack and get the effect or if they had to battle a monster. The first point about Navigation still stands I think as long as it wasn't sent to the grave that turn.

I suggest doing main three heroes of each generation. GX having so many contenders I suggest Laval in place of Volcanic since it is more modern varient and have that VS Crystal beasts, be one; Modern Hero focused on E heros and Modern hero focused on D heros duke it out; and lastly Modern Roid VS Jurrac as that is (in my oppinion) the best dino set for modern. for 5D Yusei/Jack/Akiza (plant+black rose deck) Black garden modern deck. for Zexal Yuma/Kite/Shark for Arc-V Each Mr. Tomato head and each Yuzu by universe appropiate facing off.
