I just ended watching this video for the 4th time and I want to say this is the most entertaining video I saw in literal YEARS, everything about these 2:30h is pure GOLD, Drwurstpeter is maybe the best entertainer I've ever watched in the Speedrun community, having the skill to talk two and a half hours non-stopping without sounding boring a single time, it is magnificent. The jokes, the gameplay quality, everything in this speedrun is simply magic. Shoutout to the guy sitting on the front row, vibing with Peter during the whole time and being a great addition to the video as I was keeping my attention on his reactions and how he follows Peter with his jokes or plays, enjoying the moment. I like when he said "Prayers in chat" and he started doing the thing too. Simply great. I tried playing the game following his instructions and I was able to learn everything about fusions and the game in itself just by watching him going around. The MBD part was great too Everything in this video is so perfect it is almost scary how good it is, maybe this comment is going to get lost due to the video's time of uploading but I'm grateful just for finding this speedrun, I hope someone reads this and relates to it.

@@elvisd3947 not easier. This mod doesn’t change the rates, only more drops. Its just the same game but faster, so hardly. Your still at a ridiculous disadvantage when you face the final mages, they stil get 20 card hands and casually summon the most juiced monsters in the game while you struggle uphill the whole gauntlet while praying to Lady Luck.

@@kaibaman9651 Yeah I know that the game stays the same. The difficulty arises from the endless farming that needs to happen. The matches aren't more difficult but you simply have to invest hours upon hours of your life to reach the same level or cards or what have you. That, in my opinion, makes it way harder.

@@elvisd3947 I guess you can do that if you don’t value your time. I remember being that young to waste it. Nowadays i can barely fit maybe a couple sessions per week. Work full time, part time college and life responsibilities suck up my time like a sponge. Even with the mod, you still spending a ludicrous amount of time farming just to maybe stand a chance against the final 6, which is still RNG AF.

This game is both lovely, and infuriating 'cause the AI cheats (and it was verified by someone else who modded the game to see the opponent's hand, and YES that hand is being "Bandit Keith"ed this whole time) The lovely side is the fusion gimmick. While it mostly lead to a Twin-headed thunder dragon deck to beat the game, my fave fusion as in the unexpected one is Mystical Sand, which is a Girl and a rock as a fusion condition. Another non-THTD fusion I love as it takes the exact material I both love, but is also helpful in progressing is Meteor B. Dragon, AKA Meteor Dragon meets Red-eyes

A lot of the fusions were generic, like female and rock, fire and beast, female and beast, the most popular being Twin Headed Thunder Dragon, or 1600 atk dragon or higher and a thunder, if below 1600 atk, then you would get regular Thunder Dragon. There were also cool fusions with magic cards but they usually weren't as useful. Some fusions were very specific, like Baby Dragon and Time Wizard or Red Eyes and Meteor Dragon. Gamefaqs will do a better job guiding you maing. 👍
