Yu-Gi-Oh! French Nationals 2022 Round 9 Feature Match Synchron vs Swordsoul

Two synchro decks battling it out to keep their x-1 record in Day 2 of the French National Championship. Haoues was showing an impressive performance day 1, but will be tested going up against one of the best decks of the format! Hi guys, i know that i missplayed sometimes but keep in mind that was my first major event and my first feature match. I was nervous and i have slept only 6h in 2 days, its hard to keep focus with so little sleep.

Samir opened the only hand to beat you in game 3, I mean Ash, then dropplet with the impermanence to top it, out the anti spell then pot of desire for more gas, he really had everything. And he his one of the best player in the country so no shame at all

Honestly that last match was bullshit, he missed 3 draws, and the other player cheated by shuffling two back into the deck when it should of only been one. That could of changed the outcome of the match, he earned that win. He could of negated baxia with crystal wing. I wonder what got impermed

Hey its ok man, I am sure the first time being in a feature match on top of already having a really good streak day 1 put a lot of pressure on him and thats why he didn't see some lines of play in game 3. Congrats on your top Haoues!

really should not use yazi for the combo line. Think he has misplayed so much. He could use speeder to summon jet, then go with chaos ruler instead baronne, mill the deck, potential to get anti spell and dumb cyberse to grave. Yazi and jet are for the post nib, really shouldnt waste yazi as he could use it after to pop opp's field too

Ok, so game 2, after junk synchron got negated, couldent he discard the spell, revive jet synchron with his effect, then trigger the doppel in hand to go combo? I understand if he was nervous but that was a big misplay.

Samir has blackout facedown, even if i used jet effect then special Doppel from hand, he can use blackout and pop 2 Monsters on my field. I didnt missplay, you just forget about blackout.

He missplay a lot and all the combos feel weird 🥲 Honestly in my case i hate cupid pitch and metal marcher for me is kind of waste of resources and i start playing a second Archifiend Abyss and a Rose Maiden as Backup Plan. Ra and Lava Golem is a issue in my state

second archfiend abyss is a waste because you can only use the effect of that card once per turn. so even if you have 2 archfiend abyss on your field, you can only negate once.
