Just happens to like their personality, which *happens* to not be flirtatious And besides the onl.. well, not only, one of the main reasons she never dates anyone or so much as humours their flirtation is because she's crushing on Jaden and had been since day one (although she'd never admit it to herself or anyone else) - it's clear as day (especially when Jaden's struggling a few episodes earlier and she almost has the bravery to say it), and in the follow up material to their 3 years at duel academy and 3 seasons of the show, they do actually end up getting together - absence makes the heart grow fonder etc

When a card makes you “randomly discard” the games just has a cursor randomly go over your hand and the card is selected In the real world, I always assumed the controller of the random discard effect just chose a card from the victim’s hand without looking at them But here, Alexis shuffles her hand, faces them away from her and chooses the card to act as the “Randomly discard card from hand”
