Man Yu Gi Oh GX Duel academy was class for the GBA, there's a lot of things from it I would have liked to see in this game!

Gotta admit the overworld looks great but I can definitely see the what you mean in duels being a bit slow. The sandwhich scene was absolute gold though 🤣

Yeah, the pace of the actual game can be a bit detrimental! makes it feel like a bit of a slog, hopefully, the sequels have a speed-up function of some sort! The amount of sandwiches we went through that day was staggering! So many different takes, was hard to choose one!

@@FriendsAndGamingYT Will we ever see a Forbidden memories video? 👀 From what I saw of the gameplay in the video though im glad the sequels added speed-up functions. Definitely looks like it needed it. The "Eat it now" was perfection man. Im sure thr other takes were gold too 🤣

@@wackstickles2 First things first is the tag force games! gotta do them all! Forbidden memories is on the list though! As for speed up i know tag force 2 doesn't have it, so praying 3 and onwards do!

Ohhh yeah that game was incredible I still like Forbidden Memories more but this is easily my second favorite YU-GI-OH game and my 3rd favorite is Nightmare Troubadour on the DS.

Funny enough my favorite games in the series are based around the spin offs like dualist of roses, dungeon dice and capsule monster

That's fair, there far from what one would expect when playing a yu gi oh game! There so wildly different from the card game!

@@FriendsAndGamingYT I liked Dualist of the Roses but that one other PS2 spin off games capsule monsters felt weird... They could have at least used the anime rules but nope. I liked Roses but they are mostly miss not hit (for me you are welcome to disagree).

@@Official_RetroMania Well the capsul monsters game was more along the line of an SRPG with the yu gi oh monsters filling in for units! it is its own thing apart from the game, and i think i like the weirdness of that in my Yu Gi Oh game, something that isn't just the card game! But i can see how that would turn people off
