Even though Swift Birdman Joe and Sky Scout are not technically part of the Harpie archetype, they're both wind attribute monsters that are humanlike creatures with bird parts just like the Harpies, so they're pretty much male harpies to me. Also, in my book, "Sky Scout" will still always be "Harpies' Brother" to me.

Even it's name Alluring Mirror Split is censored as it's OCG name is Split Mirrors Of Seduction. Due to the name being sexually suggestive.

If it's okay I wanted to add on to the harpie archetype in terms of cards and lure. Harpie Lady: for those who don't know the Harpie archetype was also part of the bandai version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Each Harpie monster did resemble Harpie lady 1, 2 and, 3 with the ability to equip each other to one harpie lady (the game set up was completely weird so be happy a lot of those mechanics never came to the Konami version). Also the spells Elegant egotist, cyber shield and, electro whip (manga) are also cards to support harpies. Yes "electro whip" it was an equip spell for female monsters i.e BDSM like nature of the harpies in the manga during the duelist kingdom arc as support for harpie lady. The anime changed it to rose whip but it didn't help much at all. Harpie Lady 1, 2 and, 3 ( Harpie Lady Sisters): these monsters have there own names similar to the harpies from the greek mythos they are based one Harpie Lady 1- Airo (Aello) Harpie Lady 2 - Ocupete (Ocypete) Harpie Lady 3 - Keraino (Celaeno) which are the names given to them in Yu-Gi-Oh! Falsebound kingdom which was the names of 3 particular harpies in the lore. Harpie Lady 2 and 3 are numbered different in the Bandai version as its reversed in there version Harpie Lady 2 is 3 and 3 is 2. Also in the Bandai version all harpies shared an Atk 1800 & Def 700 but, changed to Atk 1300 & Def 1400 ( why idk maybe to not have over powered lv4 monsters in the game so early). They also became equip cards for harpie lady giving her 500 Atk and Def. As well they are equiped with cyber shield but no bonus atk or defense. Which is similar to Cyber Harpie Lady who gains atk from the fact she has cyber shield but not electro whip and, 100 less defense. Harpie Lady 1 and 2 appear in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 as tag duel opponents. Harpie Lady Sisters is a normal monster in Forbidden Memories the PS1 yugioh card game. In later games they gave 900 atk points to harpie's pet dragon as there effect and the only effect they have had in games outside of traditional game play. Cyber Shield gave 500 atk and 400 def to female like illustration in the bandai version. Harpie Queen Queen was the first harpie monster to have the effect of "this card's name treated as [later changed to "becomes"] "harpie lady" while on the field or in the graveyard. to assist the archetype with its issue of Max 3 ruling. She also appears along side Harpie Girl in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 as a tag duel opponent in that game. both using harpie based decks for that time. She also appeared in yugioh world championship 2009 and 2010 as solo opponent in those games. Also using harpies with tuner monsters such as blackwing gale the whirlwind, mist valley soldier and, mist valley shaman. As stardust dragon, ancient fairy and more was used in the extra deck. She also appears in the artwork of the big cattle drive. Harpie Oracle her crystal orb shows the image of Harpies' Hunting Ground in it as she is looking into time both past or future. Harpie's Pet Dragon was a normal monsters in the following Yu-Gi-Oh! games while his masters the harpie lady, cyber harpie lady and, harpie lady sisters was all effect monsters that boosted the atk and defense of this monster by 300 like his own effect. Note that Harpie Lady Sisters effect counted themselves as 3 times the amount. yu-gi-oh sacred cards yu-gi-oh refesheal of destruction yu-gi-oh duelist of the roses Harpie's pet baby dragon appears in yugioh world championship 2011 as a tag duel opponent with blackwing zephyros the elite Harpie Girl she was also featured in yugioh world championship 2008 along side harpie queen as her tag duel opponent then in yugioh world champion 2011 with amazoness trainee as her tag duel opponent. Alluring mirror split the artwork of this card uses the reflective image effects of mirror wall and elegant egotist. Also wanna being attention to all the male illustrated winged beast who share a similar make up to the Harpies who sadly are not treated as harpies in any way. swift birdman joe sonic shooter storm shooter harpie's brother (sky scout) of course the monsters Cyber Slash Harpie Lady and, Harpie's pet dragon fearsome fire blast came way after this video was made. not to mention in 2020 the harpie archetype did receive "lost art" promos for that year including the artwork for alluring mirror split harpie's feather rest harpie queen harpie dancer harpie channeler harpie conductor now if you include the harpie lady and harpie girl arts that was already released prior to their changes later on that's 8 harpie cards with ocg artwork in the tcg.

If I was playing a harpy lady deck, I would just add the Harpy Ladies # 1 to 3 and just not use the original or cyber. Mostly because those three have their own unique abilities while the original and cyber don't. On that note, you can just use the armor spell card on any one of them to get them to the power level of a cyber harpy lady.

I was such a fan of Harpy Lady. I loved using Harpy Lady #1, which adds +300 ATK to ALL wind monsters on the field. I added the Rising Air current field (Adds 500 ATK to all wind types). Also added Blade Fly (All wind monsters get 500 ATK all earth types losse 400 ATK). Also, throw in Mai Valentine's battle style and added equip cards. With multiple sources of ATK boosters, lots of players would miscalculate their ATK.

I like the international versions of the Harpy Lady Archetypes better than the Japanese versions, because the cards have been censored. I have an uncensored Harpie Girl and Harpie Lady from their original packs. They're still in excellent condition too, cause I never used them. As for my feelings on censorship? It's a foul and vile practice that does more far harm than good. It teaches children only that it's perfectly alright to destroy someone's hard work if it offends your fragile sensibilities. This is not something any child should be taught, and thus, anyone who supports censorship of any kind is an absolutely odious individual.

They’re relatively weak cards but have so much support it’s insane…. All the main cards range from 500-2000…. And the boss monster harpies pet dragon can only have a max of 3200 if there’s 4 harpies on the field with it…. The harpy ladies themselves cap at 2700 with the use of spell cards….
