I used to be a National level Yu-Gi-Oh! player years back & traveled from city to city competing & fought some of the top players - it was quite common to hear stories of SUPER rare cards. The problem is they all lose value SO quick! I remember someone paying £400 for a Needle Worm at one of the first UK National Championships.. now it's worth about 49p (a few cents).

Magic has a three cards that are WAY more expensive than the Black Lotus. Proposal, Splendid Genesis and Fraternal Exaltation. All of them where made by Richard Garfield to celebrate sepcific ocasions in his life. Proposal was made for him proposing to his girlfirend, Splendid Genesis was made to celebrate the birth of his first child and Freternal Exaltation was made to celebrate the birth of his second child. All of them where printed for the couple and some relatives, making them EXTREMLY rare. They do not have set symbols and Splendid Genesis is up for sale at 15,000.00 bucks at Neo Store and that's just the price there. If that card would be bought by anybody they could just drive the price up even more simply by the interest generate by the sale.

Nice video, but there is some wrong inforamtion in it! 1) Zera actually has 2 copies, Super-War Lion has 3 copies and Fiend's Mirror 4 copies, which means the tournament Winner actually got all 4 in a black case. I have a photo of the four winners showing the cards. The Normal Monster Versions were the first print of these cards as there was only one Booster Pack released at that time in Japan, called Volume 1. Ritual Monters were introduced to the game months after the tournament. Every Ritual Monster version of these 4 cards in japanese is marked as "Replica", showing that these are reprints of the tournament prize cards. 2) Arkana's Dark Magician was NOT printed in chinese! It was a japanese Promo in regular Premium Pack 4! Chinese Dark Magician hast the same art as the TCG Starter Deck Yugi Version, but not hologram or Set-Number. 3) Armament of the Lethal Lords (6 copies in the world) is a so called Match Winner card (cards with Effects like Victory Dragon). The are specifically designed for World Championship. Each year the first card is given to the 2 or 3 1st place duelists, while the second card is given to 2nd to 4th place (before 2017 6 people, after 2017 9 people. This means Armament of the Lethal Lords is only one rare card out of a pool of over 30 Match Winners so far. Another one is the often mentioned Skuna the Leonine Rakan. 4) Tyler Gressle said in an interview that he has no knowledge if there is any other copy of his card in existence! There was never a second copy on auction! 5) 1999 was not printed on steel. It has 400 copies which is confirmed by japanese Card Catalogue the Valuable Book 1. It is actually sold for like 8.000-10.000$ atm. One of the Super-War Lion cards is owned by a japanese collector. If you don't mind, I'll share a link to his video.

As far as I'm aware they've never released the non-Ritual version of Black Luster Soldier. Though if it helps, I used to have Envoy of the beginning back when it first came out... was worth about £60 UK.

I have a doomcaliber knight card first edition also in yugioh zero the yo-yo death battle was my favorite,I believe there was a golden castle metal card made for a tournament and a first edition black lotus card was found in a storage unit on storage wars.

Technically the other three cards were not ritual monsters prior to that since they only existed as normal monsters in the video games. BLS was only previously known as a ritual monster because it was used in the manga.

I have an even rarer card. It's a Black Luster Soldier that's a fusion monster. The card is made out of diamond. Its summoning condition is to send the top two cards in your deck to the graveyard. Oh and it also can't be affected by card effects and it negates up to three card effects in either players turn. I'm selling it for 1 billion dollars.

But yeah, I think the rarest cards I tend to come across are misprints. I actually own a couple of misaligned foil cards, my favorite being a misaligned gold secret Rose Lover. It's a little hard to tell on the others, but with the Rose Lover, the secret rare shine on the entire card is shifted down a little bit. I also found a P4-02 Arkana Dark Magician, but whoever owned it before didn't take very good care of the card. It's funny cuz the collection I got it from also had a 1st edition SDP Graceful Charity in Mint condition, along with a slightly played MRL 1st Edition Snatch Steal.

I'd say most likely not. Snatch Steal has received a few different reprints, most of which are pretty common. Snatch Steal's original print run (DB1/MRL/SRL) can be worth a little bit, but even then, at most you'll most likely be looking at a price range of $7 - $30. The main thing at this point that would even affect Snatch Steal's price would be if it ever came off the forbidden section of the banlist, which based on what happened the last time it got unbanned, probably won't ever happen again (unless they errata it, which would then make the card probably worthless to anyone outside of collectors). Also, the square is only really there to show what edition the card is. Gold square means 1st Edition/Limited Edition, silver square means Unlimited Edition.
