Pretty sure the manga is a separate continuity from the anime, so the anime Jaden is the original Elemental Hero holder, while manga Jaden inherited them.

BONUS TRIVIA:Masked HERO Anki's pose is based off the Kamen Rider's signature final attack, the Rider Kick.Anki in the yugioh game's effect of attacking directly is only used to finish off the opponent like a Kamen Rider would. Masked HERO Chaos may be a fusion because Kamen Rider W is a rider series were it requires 2 people to form 1 Kamen Rider.

I know I’m 4 years too late, but I use Anki and Dian in my Supreme King Evil Hero deck. Most monsters are either dark or earth, so those two fit perfectly in this deck

You should use dark law instead of Anki for its effect. Anki is usually better if your extra deck is more masked hero oriented. Plus being able to discard a card from the opponents hand every time they search a card and add to their hand an unlimited amount of times and simultaneously being able to banish every card that would usually go to your opponents graveyard is an absolutely amazing effect. It’s like called by the grave but if it were a monster that also punishes your opponent for searching cards.

I won't lie. When the masked hero deck came out me and my friend (who I should note is A. My groups "HERO" specialist and B. my groups fusion specialist) challenged me to a little duel the for the following day he said to build a deck using the masked hero deck as a base we can add cards that we think that will help. . . I was a scumbag and turned it into an ANTI-fusion deck and had it focus around xyz summoning (my specialty) because I know I wouldn't stand a chance to his fusion deck (yes he was mad and yes he still calls me a dick for doing so but it was all in good fun and agreed that it was a smart counter)

So fun fact when the masked hero starter deck came out me and my friend made a bet where we both had 3 hours to customize the deck and we both had to battle each other with it the deck had to be the masked hero deck at it's base but we could mod it however we liked. He was a fusion master of our group I however am synchro/ xyz so I turned a hero deck into a synchro/anti fusion deck my friend was not pleased but it was still completely fair to our rules

Masked Hero is probably my second favorite deck at the moment. A great combo I use is pulling Dian and using the effect on shadow mist, chaining shadow mist effect. Then using that mask change I or II on her(Anki if I don't have another change card in my hand, Dark law if I do) or another hero. If done right I could have 3 Masked hero's on the field in 2 turns. If I have have pulled a poly by then I use it on Dian and the 3rd unspecified masked card for Contrast. I prefer to leave dark law for the effects. Koga is pretty lit as well. I don't think there is a broken masked hero considering they are all situational. Though if they can be summoned together they can protect each other rather well. The deck can definitely be reduced to a crawl if no change cards are drawn or if your opponent plays a deck using Secret Village or either hands of the magician. This is however not using the new link rules as I haven't really looked into a link monster that works well with it. I did not mean for the comment to be this long ~_~

'Masked HERO Blast' is an obvious reference to 'Kamen Rider Ichigo' or the original Kamen Rider. The green & black outfit, bug-like motif, antennae, dynamic pose and red scarf all point to what is one of the most famous heroes in Japan. (Though I do say obvious if you were to know the genre) 'Masked HERO Goka' has that symbol which you say is based on 'Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue' when it's more likely referencing 'Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive', the show Lightspeed Rescue gets a lot of its footage from. 'Masked HERO Divine Wind' is another Ichigo reference though with a spin to it. The wind theme is a big part of Ichigo's power as wind was used as part of the transformation, his transformation belt was called the 'Typhoon' and his motorbike was even called the 'Cyclone'. The god themes could reference the large amount of religious iconography scattered through Kamen Rider as a whole, especially the earlier seasons with characters even being put of crosses. That and the forehead gem seen in the vast majority of Rider designs is a reference to Buddhism and how the show is 'reborn' each year. 'Contrast HERO Chaos' needing two Masked HERO's is most likely a reference to how 'Kamen Rider W' needs two people to access the powers, both controlling the body at once. The 'Chaos' part and the dark imagery could most likely reference how this is a 'Berserk Form'; a trope in the show where the hero gains a powerful form with the drawback of either being hard to control or having no control at all, hence going berserk. Sorry for the info dump, just a nerd for Tokusatsu and the Kamen Rider universe.

I played a masked hero deck with a rainbow neos mixed in, it was pretty good but rainbow dragon could become a massive problem (it can't be replaced by prisma nor king of the swamp, ruling, couldn't be summoned either, no crystal beasts used) I still use it sometimes, keep changing it too. rainbow neos is now removed for consistency and added the new HERO support (new vision HERO, skydive scorcher for e-HERO fusions , legacy of a hero for the same fusions and e-HERO honest neos as attackbooster)

Real Masked Hero pros use the Absolute Acid combo for the field wipe, Direct attack with Acid, then Form Change to attack again. Bonus if you have a second Form Change in your hand for another another direct attack. Some men want to watch the world burn.

I have this deck irl. My favorite thing to do is make absolute zero, and then use in if the change cards to switch it out for masked hero acid. Doing so will wipe the opponent's entire board. Unless they negate the summoning.

Fun fact: after the hurricane and tsunami that hit japan in 2011, a kamen rider statue was found undamaged,becoming a symbol of hope. This was in the 40 year anniversary of kamen rider, which led to kamen rider fourze being turned into a symbol for kids to learn from, to encourage them to make new friends after the disasters.

I'll admit I always thought the masked Hero's was the anti-Hero version of normal hero's, not Japanese hero's. Reason why is I always had the impression that anti-hero's would wear masks to signify they used to be good, but then reality came in and broken them. they still fight for what's good, but don't care how to go around it.

Masked Hero Goka reminds me of Agunimon from Digimon Frontier and I always like Kamen Riders, as well as Masked Hero and Elemental Hero. Plus the best combo for Mask Hero is let your opponent go first to set his field, then your turn Fusion Summon Absolute Zero and set Form Change/Mask Change facedown. Your opponent goes and once he ends his turn activate Form Change or Mask Change on Absolute Zero to bring out Acid and blow his field

One thing I still wanna mention because I feel like missing is that Masked Hero Blast has a resemblance to Kamen Rider Cyclone. The fact that Kamen Rider Cyclone is one half of W (Double) is similar Blast effect to half the Attack-points because of the missing half-side. Also the card Mask Change is (clearly) a reference to the "Henshin" part of every Rider so far :D

I played this deck w/ some hero cards and an effective combination is going acid-> absolute zero->vapor which basically makes a nuke effects

as a kamen rider fan my self i would believe that masked hero blast is based off of the first kamen rider: ichigo and idk if goka was released before kamen rider wizard or not but i always thought that goka was based off of wizard with all of the black placements divine wind is giving me cyclone half of kamen rider w(pronounced double) vibes and i aprecate that you're going deep into the research of kamen rider cause i didn't expect you to mention advent cards when talking about kamen rider fem and dian and masked hero vapour is giving me some kamen rider posiden but maybe not cause posiden probable came into thought way after the debute of vapour and a possible reason on why contrast hero chaos need two heros as materials is because kamen rider w is a kamen rider that has the consciousness of two go into one body or w's final form case body and mind into one

If you watch closely at the english dubbed version, i cant remember what episode it is but there was a reporter who was there undercover to look into the missing students and there was a brief flashback when he said that heros were the reason he quit dueling and it even showed skyscraper and i believe the flame wingman in the flashback
