Literally Memento isn't that good, granted tenpai went first but the memento was all the spells/traps besides the field then drew dark blade and did full combo to bring out twin, horned, and combined only needing fracture to break the 6k tenpai and trident then cranium burst to negate Genroku, paidra(failed), then second Bident... which got fractured to 1.6k and then banished by the destruction.

​​@@GordonFana bunch of people are probably just learning the deck, not that it's that difficult, but there are players who make a lot of mistakes with it, as seen in this video. In higher ranks, Tenpai can and will steal games from you about 50 percent of the time, if not more. It's like Numeron back in the early days of Master Duel, only it outputs way more damage, has way more protection, recurrence, interruptions, and ways to break boards, and is way more consistent in general.

Evil is the best highlight though, it allowed infernoid to do turn 1 combos very easily and an easy search to imagination, which helps give you both onuncu and devyaty on your field at the same time (also I was able to V lock with this deck because you can revive a lot if you have enough infernoids in the GY). Also add that new link 2 fire, you can re-add the level 1-4 to the hand so you can banish 1 infernoid for a summon instead of 2-3 with those higher levels. I also really like the spells. The card destruction one is also fine though since my deck is a mill version, i don’t get much of those in my hand. The infernoid continuous spell, on the other hand, is really useful. Turns every infernoid into a zeroboros, and you can still have a zeroboros in your field with them. Also the deck still doesn’t lock things, and a promethium can revive flood as well. Overall it’s a very fun deck IMO, thank you for listening to me Ted talk

However I finally found a way to optimize it with snake eyes engine to make a good V lock (amphlowhale, Singularity, Selene co link, while I have a chengying and Flood on the side and also Promethian princess and raging pheonix in the GY). The downside is that it’s rather expensive. Make sure you wanna commit to this deck because it’s already expensive on its own. Have fun!

Voiceless Voice actually has a counter to Tenpai. One of their Continuous Traps gives a ritual Monster the attack of every card on the field. So just use it before the level ten comes out, and they can't otk you.

Master Duel has had this rock-paper scissors problem for a while but it is worse than ever (and will continue to get worse over time). Just over the last year or two we've had Lab, Rollback, Tear, Yubel, Snake-Eyez, Tenpai, all competitive even after nerfs and all requiring side decking (like red reboot just loses you the game if you did not run into a trap deck on ladder). Unless you are playing a combo deck yourself then it "improves" to "just win the coin toss" instead. Well hopefully this is a learning experience.

I came back to check out just how bad the game has gotten since 2022 because I got real sick of it then with the link spamming and it seems the problem is made 100 times worse with different summoning mechanics involved now. What is making me want Konami to suffer some kind of cyber attack is that they charge ridiculous prices for gems and make a lot of NECESSARY CARDS URs and don't give much in the way of material or make it cheap enough to buy tons of gems for so since I don't have 3 of staple URs of handtraps because I took a long ass break, I can't even compete and Platinum tier is just awful, I got extremely lucky with my Aromage and Infernoid deck but now its the META WALL. Is it really hard to say the deck loses when in both cases it seemed pretty well like tenpai exhausted its resources/plays but memento even if running low still had plenty to fight back with? I argue that tenpai is the weakest of the new three pretty far out, ritual beast is second best only second because of how long it takes to set up the board, biker is the best of the three for the consistency, power, and how capable it is to provide a good board quickly. For anyone questioning on infernity I don't have enough to say if it actually would be better/worse than tenpai/Mememento but I would most likely place it a little over ganbonga.

I think Tenpai only kills through dogwood if they respect it and get to the triple attacking Dragion without giving you over 13000 surplus LP on the way there. Which now that I say it sounds extremely unlikely so disregard the "respect" part.
