I'm thinking of grabbing a set of this deck purely because Machina is a super nostalgic archetype for me. Way back in the day when I was but a wee lad, I was a huge Yugioh fan but never owned any cards because I lived in a small country town, hours away from the closest city that sold anything like it, so I got by on a set of 40 relatively random cards I loaned from a friend. Then, for my 12th birthday in 2010, one morning before school, I'll never forget when my parents got me my first ever set of cards, the original Machina Mayhem structure deck. I was so overjoyed to have my own cards (they felt unique as nobody else in the area of the small group who played had Machina cards) that I still have them stowed away carefully today.

@@deejayf69 unautorised reactivation. its a quickplay spell that equips an union monster to a monster on your field that fits the conditions. abc parts can equip to light machines so you can protect your cards from card effects or what it will be mostly played for is equipping union driver then get b and do your full abc combo. its basically a second union hangar

I'm like you, Ik it's easier to talk like that than actually putting it in practice but my advice is to not think too much about it. If you find someone playing or you just wanna trade/watch or stuff like that, don't stop to think "but what if..." Just go ahead and you will find that in most of the cases they will just be nice. After maybe some embarassing minutes you will eventually start talking more naturally and you'll just have fun. Yu-Gi-Oh helped me a lot with this stupid social awkwardness

You know, there's plenty to complain about in this Structure Deck, about how many of the cards are pretty useless (most of the old Machina cards) and nothing too broken, or that they replaced the one Train support card we were all looking forward to with flipping Snow Plow Hustle Rustle, but there are two very important things to consider: 1) these new machina cards are actually pretty dope for the archetype itself, and 2) a LOT of the other cards reprinted in this deck were money cards at one point. Iron Call, Back to the Front, Solemn Strike, Cosmic Cyclone, the Kaiju...lots of good (if not random) reprints. So I'm pleased. :)

@@DesperateOak48 to be fair man, I've tried the deck on yugioh nexus and its rogue or casual pure. It works with trains but a dude told me it makes trains less consistent. I love the deck and it works very well together, a good first deck to learn or to have fun. Idk about orcust working since they are dark machines. But mekk-knight orcust girsu is almoust here and idk if these two decks will work well together but they should pretty ok.

TheGhostWing 1 I think that Mekk-Knight Orcust Girsu will bring the deck back a good bit. I’ve been testing out Danger! Orcust on EDOPro, and it’s been working fairly well

Been testing this deck for about 2 weeks, gotta say, I easily think this deck will replace HERO’S, it’s got the same combo/destructive power as HERO’S, but with protection and back up plays that keep the Machina going even if something gets negated, whereas HERO’S don’t.

Machina defense perimeter is actually a plus. If I use the flying boi to destroy himself to bring out fortress from deck and have citadel in grave, I'll be able to get citadel with its effect and then defense perimeter will bring another machina from the grave. It's a cool one or two of that actually works well since most of your three of's destroy themselves. Can also set up link and xyz plays.

It's outrageous that Machina Metalcrunch was not included in the structure deck. It probably the best Normal Summons for Machina's. Only reason why I think the card wasn't included is because it was a promo card in Japan.

In this online period I'm just playing custom formats with custom cards, so far the best one right now is Duel Stars. I just won the first regional qualifier match. I don't find myself that much engaged with the Meta right now without having the possibility to play against it

@@deetay59 Yeah it's a custom cards server that hosts tournaments where you can play with your custom cards (first they need to be tested by the staff, approved and maybe edited to follow PSCT wording) or build a deck using cards from the sets that get released. The server is kinda new so they have only 2 sets right now but it's a great start to hook up on some cool fresh archetypes that you will never see in the classic TCG. If you are interested I can send the advertising message we usually spam to let people now this server exists which contains the link to join

I had a home invasion happen while watching your video. One of the most stressful things to ever happen in my life, yelling man throwing stuff everywhere.
