Little late, but isn't shifter absolutely insane in this format? I personally like the sinergy with hootcake, why don't play three hoots and three shifter? Or is it not worth it, because of having to many monsters in the graveyard? :/

I really like magical mallet in Madolche. Because if you draw 2 Hootcake without salon you never be able to summon them in same turn, same thing with Messengelato

I’ve been struggling with whether Madolche is best going first or second in this format. I know you have prepped to be able to play going first and second… but if you had to choose, where do you think Madolche blossoms best and why? Heck, even in master duel I haven’t been able to decide which I like more… I prepped for both and I’m still torn. On a side note, what’s your view on Hey Trunade this format for madolche??

I prefer madolche going first, but it can do both pretty well. Hey trunade is a cool card, but cards like feather duster and cosmic are just a lot better this format

I think that crossout gives the defence the deck needs, currently playing 3 on main.

I love crossout in this deck. But like I said in the profile. You have to stop scythe, or its game over. So I am maximizing cards that do that, even tho it means I had to take out designator

I'm still confused. In which situation is Rafflesia even an option over Madolche cards? It can't do anything other than just not getting trapped, but i still need to summon other cards eventually, which still can be interrupted by trap cards. So i doesn't really see the point here.

I mentioned that I side gravediggers trap hole for going first. If you open salon and mageline, you can make rafflesia before doing your petingcessoeur combo, and it insulates you from powerful hand traps like nibiru

You can still run ash in the deck and use them as materials for hootcake. Hand traps don’t really break my deck thanks to hootcake imo.

Right... Hootcake can use hand traps in the gy. However, due to mathematics... We dont always draw hootcake haha. Infact, it is way more likely we will see a handtrap along with petingcessoeur or mageline, which will ruin our combo. This is why we dont play as many hts that hit the gy.

@@TopTierGamingYGO well it also depends on how you approach obtaining the hootcake, my combo for example i play pettingcessor into puddingcess, xyz into Glass, use only the detach effect, xyz into a la mode, use the return and detach to bring anjelly, use anjelly to bring out hootcake, then bring messengellato, play chateau, which triggers to bring a second messengellato, play ticket, xyz tiaramisu for an easy endgame. Most of these cards always have access to hootcake to relieve the graveyard situation. I like having ash in the grave for hootcake so i can conserve my madolches as much as possible.

@@k1ng0fgam3s your first move in the described combo is 'play petting'. If you used a handtrap, you can't. The point, which is why I asked if you NSd it

It's so sad it's a deck with so much zombo potential; but it's so awkward to play with anything outside its archetype that it has no push at all. There is not a single effect on any Madolche monster that does anything on the opponent's turn.
