Ohh I see the pun, con-fusion. I JUST built your last witch deckrofile, thankfully without the pot of prosperity, until they get cheaper. Waiting for some cards to mail. I haven't even played them so it'll be very fun to try them out and even funner with the new support!

Cool video. I've been trying out some different builds for witchcrafters. I think the brave engine slides pretty well with the new witchcrafter support to put out negate to secure the fusion summon and generate extra advantage through spellcaster-type monsters. I'd also suggest trying out magicalized fusion and verte regardless of side engines. I'd also recommend gamma as another way to secure plays, then synching into chaos ruler to mill some cards.

Magicalized fusion could be a cool idea that I havent tried yet! The other stuff you mention is actually already in my last Deck Profile that is in the description below. I mention how good chaos ruler is in the deck and how Gamma is the primary way to summon him.

Magicalized Fusion is better in almost every single way to Magistus Verre as a 2 card play into Vice-Master. It doesn't necessitate using the Normal, it plays into absolutely none of the common handtraps, it's a spell, it opens up plays involving Verte... NS a Witchcrafter, link into Artemis and voila, there's your materials. Magicians' Souls sending Aruru works as well. It does banish your monsters, but this is an incredibly irrelevant downside. You'll almost always have activatable spells in hand to trigger her immediately, but if you don't you can just use the NS'd witch eff summoning Schmietta and then proceed to do the play so you have Schmietta's GY eff ready. Bit of a long wall of text, but I felt I should give some input as someone who has spent a lot of time testing the deck. TL;DR: play Magicalized Fusion instead of Magistus Verre.

You can also try Branded Fusion to summon Lubellion, that way you can summon Vice-master by shuffling the Witchcrafters back into the deck from the field/GY/banished zone. So since the low level Witchcrafters have to go into the GY and then get banished for their effects, you get to use all of their effects first then summon Lubellion and Vice-master in the same turn.

Funny how this deck can completely bypass most of the problems of skill drain. Since they can tribute themselves to summon the big crafters, they can still use their effects since they hit the graveyard on resolution, and their other effects revolve around the GY. TLDR; Run 3 skill drain and secret village

So far I've been loving all the deck variations this new support has given recently including this one. I don't know how you feel about Pure witchcrafters or not but there are a few Albaz variants running around that are doing some cool things.

Thanks for the vid, I'll try magistus verre. I have been playing the new support together with shaddoll and it's more capable in my opinion, they have more synergy then I anticipated. The thing is that vice-master alone is not good enough, if it goes down you don't have many ways to recover, plus I wanted a budget deck and magicians soul is a no go.

The new support does slap. Honestly I couldn't think of anything better than the fusion they gave us tbh. The deck just needs more than 2 cards. I think when the deck gets the level 6 we all know is missing... and maybe a link 1 or a field spell... It will be a force to be reckoned with

@@TopTierGamingYGO the level 6 worries me because high level Witchcrafters are bricks, I hope she's like a hand trap because the turn on boards need help my favorite part about this deck is that if u survive to turn 3 u basically win since the advantage is sky striker level

@@detective_0267 i mean. High level doesn't necessarily mean brick. She could say "you can discard 1 spell to special summon this card from your hand." And then have an eff to add spells or something crazy. The sky is the limit and I hope konami does them justice, because people like the archetype.
