they have good turn 1 board making ability, specially this format, the problem is they die very hard to handtraps and Nibiru, and can't use extenders because of Petting's effect

So he's partly right about how Messengelato works. How he works is that "if this card is special summoned while you control a face-up beast-type monster on the field, you can add one Madolche spell or trap card from the deck to the hand." It use to be seen a lot when you ran Mew and use it to special it after a normal. But now since Madolches gotten a LOT more useful cards, you would see something like Magaline into puddingcouress, for angelly. tribute for hootcake, banish the jelly for jelato, search the spell and trap, and depending on if you're going first or second, make Glassoffle.

Nice to see this deck top. off topic but I always feel like the right amount of madolche spells to run will always be debated in the community even by yourself(guy ran 1 and 1 but wanted 2 field spell). I feel like either 2 1 or 1 2 is good, chateu is amazing and can be used as a combo starter in some situations so I will gladly always run two.
