Hey guys. I've seen A LOT of you noting that I could have avoided damage in the Sieger/Borrelsword battle by just using it's effect. I get it. We made a small misplay. Please stop commenting on it. It's super disheartening to put 30+ hours of work into a video just for 20+ people to say "Hey, you did this wrong" and nothing else. I get that you're trying to help but realistically this is a decently sized channel and all of the misplays are generally pointed out in the first hour of it's upload. If you're commenting on a potential misplay after that it's probably just redundant. Try to enjoy the episode and recognize that misplays will occasionally happen. They don't really matter. We're just two dudes trying to play cards with our friends and have some fun.

um, disheartening for a very engaged youtuber who looks through all the comments & genuinely gives them all consideration, which is extremely commendable, but increasing comment activity for the algorythm which 'could' be seen as a win, a lot of people might not see this & keep making similar comments in future on other videos, so just based on that, um, small suggestion if you feel like trying it out for when/if they happen, when seeing repeat negative comments that aren't really in any way constructive, trying to switch perspective on those, go "+1 for the algorythm" with a smile, just based on expression genuinely making it easier to feel good about things sometimes, at least for some people, rather than taking a negative take on it that could make anyone feel bad by giving those comments equal consideration to all the others, could make it easier to move past them without them having such a negative impact. um, xP sorry for the unnecessarily long paragraph, & thanks for the great series

@@Marcusjnmc I'd like to begin here by noting that I always look forward to reading your comments. I see your profile picture and I know it'll be a good one :) With that, I like your idea of a perspective shift. The comments do help the algorithm and are at least beneficial in that way. I definitely opt into that perspective with my art channel as it's my job and it needs to grow/do well. Here has always been different though. I never really intended to make a big yu-gi-oh channel. I just wanted to make a fun vlog-like series for me, my friends and the memories. Then luck struck and the channel got big. I guess I just really liked the respectful, friendly community and it's hard to detach/look at it as 'something to grow' rather than 'something to be a very engaged part of' but perhaps there is a balance to find. With that, again, always love reading what you have to say and I genuinely get my spirits lifted when I see your pfp in the comments :)

Some interesting thoughts if you ever decide to do a sealed only-type series again: -Either random packs, or a hard limit of how many for how many of one pack you can get (to prevent weeks of hoping for a single card and going dry). Possibly a mixture of the two, half randomized half chosen? -Opponent gets to ban one card from the opponent's deck for the rest of the series per episode. This will prevent relying on a single card/strategy to win! It might promote diversifying synergies instead of relying so heavily on one engine or powerhouse. -Possibly forcing the players to rotate out 10-15 cards of their choice from the deck every episode, that way we can see some more of the cards that you pull! -Instead of making one deck, you have to make three with the same set of cards (obviously if a card is one deck, it can't be in the other two unless it is an unused duplicate). Best two out of three decks each week wins! This may just devolve into both players intentionally letting one deck be weak each week to keep one "main" deck strong, but it could possibly lead to some big-brain long-term strategies :)

Oh man that last duel was pretty rough to watch. Mainly because of that double Machine Dups. (Something I have encountered one too many times in my own Cyber Dragon deck. And why I only play it at one. Which has work for me, but that’s a personal preference.) There was however a chance to summon infinity on Ruggles second turn. After crashing Cyber Dragon, but before summoning Core. He could had summon the other level 5 Cyber dragon in hand and than use his two machine dups on Core. One for the fog blade, and the other for the third level 5. Of course that was something they didn’t notice so I’m not holding up anything. But dang, that final duel could have been way closer if that happened.

Not to be the advice guy, but if you use the siger boost effect you take no damage from the attack its in. Also borralsword gains attack when it declares an attack, so he doesn't gain attack for effects in the damage step. Also even tho i want mario to win get the win next episode so the series continues 😃👍

At 20:10, why didn't machine dup resolve? Fog Blade can't prevent the activation or effect of machine dup in no circumstances. The Machine dup should've been able to resolve with ease.

It’s effect was negated, changing its name back to Cyber Dragon Core, which is why I was able to special more cores from deck :) (this is Ruggles on my other account lol)

Yeah but I only had one Cydra left in deck so no access to Nova/Infinity. Instead I opted to hold it, hoping I'd have another turn where I used a core in grace to special a small cydra, then duped it for verte materials. The game unfortunately didn't get that far lol

Sieger's effect works that neither player takes damage from attacks involving it, so ruggles could have used it to survive in game 3. Don't know how much it would've changed though
